Well, the Brits haven't forgotten the last Crusade. Nothing quite says 'Maybe God wasn't on our side, after all' like having bad weather sink your honking big Armada that was going to reclaim Gran Bretaña for the Pope. [image: 14akh0.jpg]

I've never carried a gun. I carry a box cutter. If I have to resort to pulling the box cutter out it means I can't whip your ass so I'll just lay your guts on the floor. But I support the right to own and carry guns 100%, and I've never felt any fear from someone who was carrying a gun. In fact, I feel safer when I know some of the people around me are armed. Someone mentioned that Japan was a polite society even though very few guns were around. I'm happy for them. But this isn't Japan, and we aren't Japanese. It's an apples to oranges comparison. Besides, that's not even the point. The point is, back when our ancestors agreed to give power to a federal government, they made sure the government knew it was the people telling that government what it could and could not do, not the other way around. We do not have to get permission from government to own and carry guns. We even made the government put it in writing that we did not give it the right to tell us we couldn't. But somewhere along the way people (those on the Left) started screwing with the Constitution and now you have people out there who think government has all the power and our rights come from government. So they think government gets to tell us we can't own guns. And you have a lot of people who don't like guns advocating for this flip from the people being in charge to the government being in charge. For this reason, and because people have seen fit to elect a senile old fool who kisses the Left's ass and has already said he's coming for our guns, I will be buying several guns soon.

@nobodyssock said in Before Trump goes...: @Loki said in Before Trump goes...: Social media and MSM is only good at making fun of people, it has no where to go with this story. Just like right here in this very thread! lol! Good point but I wonder if Biden wouldn’t like a little heavy lifting done for him in those 54 days. I think Iran is isolated and the opposition is united. I wonder how that happened?

Israel knows Mr. Biden will want to prove he is not a racist. So they clean up some loose ends before things get dangerous.

No, I didn't want to know. I was interested to know your reaction, along with every other TDS sufferer in the country, to this direct undermining of our institutions.

@jon-nyc said in Fraud in Iowa?: I think we all know what the underlying issue was. No voter suppression there with an email blast with a lie in it?

@George-K said in Peace in our time.: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/nov/23/barack-obama-once-again-signals-conservatives-are-/ The problem with the Republican Party, said former President Barack Obama, in The Atlantic, is “the attitudes of the base” — meaning, the conservatives who don’t live in and around the political bubbles of Washington, D.C., and who don’t travel in the liberal elitist circles of select spots in California and the East Coast. In other words, Republicans who cave to Democrats — good. Conservatives who insist on the Constitution — problematic. “I’ve said this before,” Obama told The Atlantic. “The problem facing the Republican Party, the conservative movement, whatever you want to call it, goes back to the attitudes of the base — attitudes that have been shaped by right-wing media. And so essentially what Republican elected officials have done is to say to themselves that in order to survive, we have to go along with conspiracy theorizing, false assertion, fantasies that Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh and others in that echo chamber have concocted, because people believe them.” President Uniter. Shut up and have a beer.
