“Ukraine hoax” isn’t that a Trumpist fantasy, not a blue one?

@rich said in 2.9MM shots today: Does this represent people who have had both doses, or just one? I think the graph is shots per day, not accounting for people.

@george-k said in Well, this is interesting...: Yeah, update? Normal sinus rhythm. Still running some low grade temps. She's still snoozing this morning, although she wants to play for church, dragging her wound vac with her. Her cardiologist said he thought she could take the second shot, if she had rescue meds on hand. I'd like to remind him the reason he became her cardiologist, was because of severe chest pain due to a reaction to Imitrex...The wife has some oddball reaction to medications...Toradol taken at home post rotator cuff surgery landed her in the ED with a severe reaction. She's had COVID. She's had one shot. She and her sister both reacted violently to the first vaccination. I don't think either will take the second.

One thing- definitely read lots of reviews on any all inclusive resort to get info on the free activities. We barely used any because of the age of my son, so I can’t really comment. But I can imagine them being limited in capacity and it being hard to sign up for the coolest activities before they fill up for the day or week.

@aqua-letifer said in "POLICE SQUAD!" (In Color): Holy hell. Just... find it. My two favorite scenes: The chimpanzee going nuts in the freeze frame at the end of one episode. The tall detective whose head is outside of the frame that has "something on the corner of his mouth".

@jon-nyc I am still waiting to qualify in Oregon. My wife has had it (teacher) and my middle has had it (she just signed up at a pharmacy signing something attesting that she was eligible and then noted she was dealing with the public every day at her job, which was true).

@axtremus said in Interesting metric for how the GOP has changed over time: @kincaid said in Interesting metric for how the GOP has changed over time: He was the driving force behind the blue print for Obamacare, getting Romneycare or whatever it was, going in his state. Then he had to turn around and say "Obamacare bad" when he competed in the 2012 Republican primary because by that time the GOP base's mantra was to repeal Obamacare. That he did.

@taiwan_girl said in Fraud: @jolly said in Fraud: @taiwan_girl said in Fraud: So, if fraud is on both sides, dont they kind of cancel each other out and the end result is if there was not fraud at all? :man-shrugging: How much fraud is there on both sides? I want you to point that out to me. The logic tree goes like this: Is there fraud? If so, how much? Where dies it primarily occur? Who benefits the most? How do we eliminate fraud? I dont know that answer, but human nature being human nature, the logic answer would be that both sides commit it equally. LOL I agree that there is some fraud that occurs, but my opinion is that it is a super small amount and the "net" result for one side or the other is almost zero. I do agree that there should be no fraud however. In other words, you don't have a single damn idea, LOL.

@george-k said in Hey, George.: This stuff? Yes, that's the one. I like it well enough. I'm not a good one for food reviews . . . I probably wouldn't buy it again. I don't like things made to taste like other things, that is, I like mustard to be mustard and Tabasco to be Tabasco. This mustard is a bit too Tabascoey for my taste. Plus, it leaves a bit of an afterburn on the tongue; not a big deal, but still.

@loki said in 5g in NYC: If it were faster than that what would be better for you? I was going to comment. I saw an article a while ago, saying that, for what most of us do (streaming, browsing, etc) we are paying for speeds we really don't need. I was perfectly content with speeds of 25 or so - everything worked, streaming was fine, except for that German pron, because, well, you know. Via cable, I'm at about 200, but I really don't notice a difference in day-to-day use from when I was at 25.
