It was a mostly peaceful tour of Capitol Hill.

It was! Literally it was. I think the majority of attendees didn't engage in illegal activity. Like BLM, there's the question of how much that matters.

It might be premature to call Roethlisberger completely washed up, but it's clear that he's no longer an asset for the Steelers.

Pfft, that is so dumb. He's still one of the best QB's in the game, and one of the biggest assets to the Steelers. I know he's on the edge of retiring, and would be fine if he did this year as it would align well with my conversion to Viking Land. šŸ™‚

Tough game last night, was nice to see their valiant effort at a comeback after being down 28-0 in the 1st quarter.

Reality is that many people have had this as their companyā€™s corporate policy for at least 15 years.

    But this isn't a company.

Thatā€™s awesome. Did they film some of Star Wars using a razor? (Maybe thatā€™s Star Trek, canā€™t remember). I donā€™t see spaceships, but I see faces EVERYWHERE. (Thereā€™s a name for that, but canā€™t recall it)

Yes the November elections proved this is not a popular concept for voters.

TG - that interpretation is exactly right. THere's actually a twitter handle called "Bad 230 Takes" that makes fun of the popular misconceptions on this topic.

@loki That's my take also. There's something about him that is just very appealing.

The reason I asked, I wanted to share his intention to run for NYC mayor in case you hadn't seen it.

No, you need to be silenced. Your ideas are racist and dangerous.
It's for the good of the country.

In the absolute shitload of stuff I read and see from liberals every day, I literally don't know anyone who's saying that.

You're grouping everyone not on your side together and speaking for them so you can demonize them. That's exactly how all this will escalate.

Excuse me, but how many voices are now banned from Twitter? Parler is now off of the internet, or soon will be. The POTUS, duly elected, cannot post on Twitter, but the Communist Chinese can. Many people's voices besides Trump are now silenced or will be.

I don't have to group everyone together, there are plenty of people on the Left who are doing that as fast as they can...

I think @Axtremus brought it up earlier about the US government having an official channel of communication.

There may be some things that are in the "public good" so that they need to be "owned" by the government. Post office is one example. Not sure if that is still needed now, but back when, it was necessary. Maybe there should be a government communication channel like Twitter.

If you do rely on a third party and have no real "contract" with them, then you cannot expect to keep control over that third party

This is a clandestine plot by radicalized moderates who are secretly attempting to undermine both left and right in a bid to violently seize power by a group known as THE SILENT MAJORITY!
I can't say too much more.

I have read @Klaus mentioning Haskell a few times in the past, and has been meaning to check it out. This puzzle is just the thing that finally got me to do. These days my primary computer programming language seems to be ā€œgoā€ (or ā€œgolangā€), mostly because I found it quite convenient for dealing with web APIs.

    Have a nice evening.

No actually I'm serious. If we can agree that generalizing is causing serious problems, then okay, we disagree about a lot of other stuff but that would be a starting point.

But if you want to defend only your side with a heterogeneous defense and believe all leftist protesters are the same, then we can't even agree on basic facts.

An already vaccinated nurse would do great with (presumably) minimal risk.

Except for, you know, the impossibly high emotional, physical and mental stress. Which would be constant.
