Where I think ranked choice voting really matters is in the event of a statistical tie. I mean when one candidate beats another by a smaller margin than the expected error rate of the system as a whole.

When you have two candidates that are effectively tied (or minuscule # of votes apart), then if their second choice numbers are dramatically different it seems like a valid tiebreaker. Moreso than the vagaries of chance.

Silly person. Airborne transmission is not possible in protest marches and illegal alien detention centers.

There was a guy here who used to disagree with me about this.

When I was interviewing and hiring people I considered looks to be very important, along with maybe a dozen other important things.

Sorry, but she wouldn't last 1 minute in my interview.

I probably wouldn't last long in hers.

Pretty much kills a lot of their content, I'm guessing...

That was most likely the idea.

I get the feeling that Mr. Modi doesn't much like 'negative speech'.

Not journalism, not politics ... this is pop culture. Those who boil things down to politics or journalism or the MSM aren't getting the bigger picture. The bigger picture is always pop culture.

@loki said in Trump goes there.:

“Mr. President, today is literally going to change everything.”

“This looks terrible. This is really bad. Who are these people? These aren’t our people, these idiots with these outfits. They look like Democrats. Hold on, our great First Lady is here,” said Trump, switching to speakerphone.

Sounds about right. Sadly, they were idiots who were all-in on the stolen election narrative, rather than Democrats.

Seems a little odd that something as basic as the length of the term of office could be in question.
