It's a mess. Finished it this week.

A good murder "mystery" must plant the seeds of solving the crime early on, and not rely on twists toward the end of the story. That's exactly what this did, and it was a disappointment.

Martin, Short (Martin Short?) are great. They play...themselves. The supporting cast is fine, but the story is sadly lacking inn anything original or inventive.

At least the episodes are short, so if you feel like wasting your live, 30 minutes at a time, go ahead.

It’s obvious that Dog the Bounty Hunter found him and decided on a little frontier justice rather than collect the bounty…

    Bubba and Leroy were talking...

Bubba: "these women in this Victoria's Secret catalog are good looking! And they don't cost much, either.... I think I'm gonna send my money off and buy that blonde headed one!"

Leroy: "boy, you ain't lying.... You send off for the blonde, and is she looks as good in person as she looks in that picture, I'll send off for one too.."

    (2 weeks later)

Leroy: "hey bubba, did that blonde you ordered from the catalog ever get here?"

Bubba:" not yet, but it won't be long now. Her clothes arrived 3 days ago.."

Besides, in my own defense, just because I posted about his book club doesn't mean I like his selections! Deepak Chopra gives me a rash!

Not defending Rodgers, either. He's a truculent sonofagun. Kinda got a kick out of his "I own you" eruption, but still. One doesn't do that.

I don't think they have the balls.

You think he'd show up? He's not exactly known for giving 'clear and concise' responses to questions. If he went off on one of his meandering rants, he could quite easily end up implicating half the GOP, including himself.

He's not gonna show up. He'll claim executive privilege, and tell them to piss up a rope.

He's just retired, give him a break - they probably paid him a few grand for this, and he didn't have to any hard sums or anything.

They won last night with the second string in a lot of key roles. Their defense was still great. Glad to see it.

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, a centrist and a stumbling block to Democratic President Joe Biden's ambitious social agenda, acknowledged on Thursday having discussed leaving the party if his Democratic colleagues considered his stance "an embarrassment."

Good to know @LuFins-Dad ! We are thinking about going to Disney world in a year or two. I’ve never been but our daughter will like it. I also look forward to her watching HP in a few years too.

RIP Maestro. Some of my favourite recordings were under his baton. Notably Beethoven’s 5th
piano concerto, DDS’ 7th and 13th Symphonies. I am sure there are others as he was often my “go to” conductor when I wasn’t sure which interpretation I should get. He certainly displaced Von Karajan in my preferences.

I think you would be hard-pressed to find a lefty who will argue in favor of a specifically defined CRT. The rank and file talking point regarding the CRT controversy is to eyeroll, mockingly ask the far-right wingnut to define it, and giggle at the out-group.
