Our house is cedar sided and it's a fairly dark green too. When we last redecorated we had I think 12 shades of green on the first floor. The flaw in trying to argue against guns by citing statistics on how many were hurt or killed by guns is that no one is keeping statistics on the number of people who were helped or saved by a gun.

The 100% survival rate is pretty impressive.
