Sounds logical. Sometimes you have a patient present with all the typical symptoms of early COVID, but the immunoassay is negative. But the docs also want a CRP level. If that is jacked, you can book it. PCR can come later...

I saw some of that. It was interesting but still speculative. Given the German reputation for recordkeeping, one might think it would be easier.

There is nothing wrong with considering the idea. We almost certainly should not do it, but an additional option is never bad.
