Here's a good book on education and its costs, written by a legitimate academic with real insight and honesty. I think I heard Sam Harris interview the author about this book a few years back. https://www.amazon.com/Case-against-Education-System-Waste/dp/0691174652

Compare the coverage of this to the coverage that the self-driving SUV got in Waukesha last year.

@jon-nyc said in It's official!: @89th Is such a good guy. I remember hearing the story when he and Aqua were in college, 89 got really lucky at some party and got two blow jobs. He was so considerate, when he got back home he gave one to Aqua. Hahahaha pretty good! 555

Put four years of the caring of a politician in one hand and 2000 pounds of elephant dung in the other, and see which one contains 2000 pounds of dung after Biden forgets the premise of the analogy.

I knew they handled this stuff. I have some instruments, but all mine came from OR. It's amazing how many times you reach for stats in the shop. But speaking of other uses for common stuff, our standard rib cutters were a pair of Craftsman pruners.

@Renauda said in An Airfield Too Far: @Aqua-Letifer It could well have been politics that governed the decision to proceed. If so it would be another example of why politics has no place at the tactical level in war. Amen.

Ugly as hell too. Sean Spicer's probably more your type. Nah, I likely have better taste in women than you do. That seems a little unlikely, since you don’t have better taste in anything else than me You're British. EVERYONE has better taste than you....

Which is, basically, Thomas's point. Thomas’ #WinningPedantrySaturday Not really an error. Put your game face on here, for shit's sake. I’ve gone from POTY winner to Pedantry Saturday loser. That’s like Michael Jordan losing a pickup game at the YMCA. Whatever. I’m man enough to admit when I’ve lost. Which I never have, and never will. Cue the Rocky montage with Strunk and White. #EyeOfTheTiger

Instead of cherry picking items that give you the opportunity to bash republicans, why don't you spend a little time talking about the first administration in history to be made up of utter fools and the devastation being done to our nation by the corrupt and incompetent democrat party? You cite one newspaper's opinion in one tiny region, but ignore the nation wide clusterfuck we face thanks you the democrats.

Greetings. I am Rich Strike, the horse half of the Derby winners, along with my man Sonny. My friends call me Ritchie. I have been given special permission to make a one-time post to your forum to correct a very unfair impression! Sonny is typing this message for me because hooves, you know. The thing is, Sonny didn't win that race by himself. Not fair to call Sonny the winner. Like what am I, chopped liver? I was there, too! So not for nuthin, it wunt Sonny who ran his ass off for the win! Make no mistake, he helped, I couldn'ta done it without him, but it's me who's rocking the liniment right now, know what I mean? S0 how about a little credit where it's due, okay? Just to show there's no hard feelings, here's a little horse joke for you. Where do horses go when they’re sick? The horsepital.
