Biomethane is common in Brazil too. Much of the São Paulo taxi fleet runs on it.

There is a Chinese saying: "Wealth never survives three generations”. first generation makes it, the second generation spends it, and the third generation loses it Guess it is somewhat the same with businesses too.

@Mik said in Biden: "Where's the gas, man?": You have to wonder though, between Venezuela and Mexico, why they don't build their own refineries. Corruption and inefficient. Venezuela has/had PdVSA, which did a lot of refineries there. When President Chavez took over, fired a lot of the PdVSA technical staff. Mexico has PEMEX. Same type of situation. Nigeria. Leading oil producer but has to import finished products! etc etc. It is sad.

@Catseye3 @89th Agree. From what I remember reading, it appeared that the US senate would have voted about 100-0 for impeachment of President Nixon, so he decided to resign. In todays world unfortunately, that would not happen.

They will have to do something. The "fairest" (but probably not something that will ever pass) is to charge per miles driven, almost like making every road a toll road. Singapore has something similar, but just for the downtown area. Having license payments higher for EV's is a good idea I think.
