@Axtremus But how about mainland China? I was there just once. I can imagine wanting to take my son there but I’d really have to research the current level of safety and risk first.

@George-K, you certainly make very good points and your skepticism about the article is well taken. The law has just been signed recently. It will take some time to see measurable impacts, including how many Obstetricians leave (or not leave) the state.

They keep better canned, but we just blanched and froze these. Still not bad at all! Something must have gone wrong with my plants. I'll wait it out, but I did see some rot at the bottom already. They may be at end of life. They are called Super Snappy, and I chose them because they are not supposed to need support.

Call me a naive old fool, but I've had a full beard for 40 of my 73 years. Problem solved.

Personally, I'm tickled to death. Businesses shouldn't take political stances. I'm hoping the Bud Light fiasco becomes the chatter of the day in C-level offices and in corporate board rooms. Maybe businesses ought to focus on being more efficient, creating better products, trying to encourage productivity and making money.

I don’t think anyone considers “banned” to mean the same thing in 2023 as it did back when the Christians were culturally ascendant (e.g., ‘banned in Boston’). But sure, agree on definitions first or qualify it (e.g. banned from the curriculum, banned from the library, etc)

This seems like a healthy dimension of competition for political parties to engage in.
