Just a short comment ... In the old days, we had a two-tiered justice system. The rich received one level of justice, the poor received another, harsher justice. Then, that changed. We still have a two-tiered system, but now it runs along political lines. Maybe the Epstein case is a return to the former system...

What would an acceptable rate of void ballots in an election? Is it zero? I think that would almost impossible to achieve. In this election, the amount of void ballots was 0.02%. Why didn't they just remove the 11 void ballots and then have new vote totals?

@Axtremus That is an interesting article. Maybe closer to Johor Baru would have maybe allowed people to make an easy transit to Singapore. Another problem is that it is in a jungle climate. Without maintenance and usage regularly, everything will start to get overgrown.

Speaking of repeating songs, how about Figgi Pudding, Partridge in a Pear Tree, and Feliz Navidad. Can't stand those songs.

@jon-nyc said in At the Dorm: @LuFins-Dad said in At the Dorm: The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, “which charges state residents $11,332 in undergraduate tuition a year, No, UT of Knoxville charges $28K in-state tuition. I don’t like when an article starts with an easily verifiable fact that is proven wrong. But it is Student Journalism, I am willing to keep going… He’s right, for 23-24 year. [image: 1701874281766-img_0608.jpeg] In an article that is entirely about campus housing, you include the campus housing costs in the tuition. Frankly, the tuition cost is irrelevant to the article anyway, strictly the housing is what the discussion is about.
