But Chinese-built occupied housing projects are not limited to within China. This one is about one such project in Malaysia.

@Axtremus That is an interesting article. Maybe closer to Johor Baru would have maybe allowed people to make an easy transit to Singapore.
Another problem is that it is in a jungle climate. Without maintenance and usage regularly, everything will start to get overgrown.
