Finally watched it. Was curious after the previous thread (link below). Short version? Popcorn fun. Ultimately the action scenes (the train in the beginning, some of the parade, the chase in Tangier, the runway in the rain) were really fun and reminded me of the old impossible Indy chases. The music was basically the original score from the 80s, and great, too. The story was really pretty dumb and forced, almost like they just needed a reason to make another movie with the action/production quality of the previous films. The ending? I'm glad they changed it but even the one they went with was pretty silly, even for fiction. Still, I had fun and that was the whole point! https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club/topic/20720/indiana-jones-time-to-let-it-die/79

@Jolly said in How many arrests?: As I wrote in another thread...The further we get from Jan6th, the more that people know that riot was in no way an insurrection. Regardless, all mobs become very stupid once the stampede starts.

I've seen that. Well, not a "genital rupture," but a perforated colon. I'm surprised she died. I wonder if the water from the exhaust of the jet ski is what caused it rather than just hitting the river at speed.

Going next month. I was a sun worshipper as a young adult and started regularly getting cancers removed in my late 30s. Then I had a transplant and started taking a drug that increases skin cancer risk 60x. That’s 6000%

More importantly, is there a manifesto to suppress?

I haven’t seen the movie. But maybe I’m the only one here who saw him conduct live on a number of occasions?

@89th said in Plane Collision in Japan: Yeah that was my guess, C5 is one of those entry paths to the main runway, and I'm guessing either the coast guard was stopped a bit beyond the C5 line or he started to enter the runway without approval. Ironically (?) the pilot of JA722A was the only survivor of that plane. Obviously, he did not hold on the taxiway as instructed.
