@Jolly Great minds must think alike (or idiot runs in pairs) but I just saw a similar article and how you can purchase your very own diamond making machine for about USD$200K https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/HPHT-Cubic-Press-Synthetic-Diamond-Making_1600318712802.html?spm=a2700.7724857.0.0.237f4032pTaqn6 but of course For an HPHT press, you'd need a reliable source of high-quality graphite, metal catalysts like iron or cobalt, and precise temperature and pressure control systems. CVD machines require a steady supply of methane and hydrogen gases, as well as the ability to generate and control microwaves or hot filaments. Both methods need diamond seed crystals to start the growth process. Moreover, you'd need specialized knowledge to manage the growth parameters, handle potentially hazardous materials and high-pressure equipment safely, and process the resulting raw diamonds into usable gems or industrial components. The machines also use considerable amounts of energy and require regular maintenance.

Apparently Rear Admiral John Kirby (ret.) just reared himself real good on this one. Should have been more observant of the field and considered all possible outcomes and responses.

A lot of this stuff is promoted by beauty influencers on Tik Tok. They are promoted as anti-aging products that are best applied prepubescent. TikTok is particularly evil. Finley will not have anything beyond a flipphone until he’s 21

That was cool to see. Of course, I'm hoping next time they'll put on those jet packs and truly do a space walk without any tethers. That's the good stuff. Also, feel bad for the chick... she had go to go up when they were on the dark side of the earth, although who knows, maybe she could see a billion stars and city lights. Also I like how they called the hatch location where they stood, the "skywalker".

That line is probably maintained by the same people who do the Bermuda Triangle.

Reagan. American flies direct between Westchester Airport and DCA. I leave my house and in 30m I’m at the gate. Unfortunately there’s only a handful of places you can fly to from there. Mostly airline hubs (eg ATL on delta) and Florida vacation spots.

@Jolly said in H.R. 82: There are a lot of people who pay into both. Then they should receive from both. Not fair to punish them. If a person works for one the few private companies that still give a pension, those people also get Social Security.

A side note: A horse doesn't naturally want to be a "leader" in the herd. It just wants to know who is, and will follow by instinct. If it accepts you as the leader, it will do these things. If, however, you don't show leadership, it will take up the role.

@George-K Yup, that is why I don't have a big opinion against driverless cars. There are so many idiot human drivers out there, but driverless overall will probably be an improvement.

15 years ago when I went to a pub with my colleagues I ordered a beer. Today I order wine. I guess I’m part of the problem.

He really should have.
