To be fair, they're reposting an article by the rather stodgy and exceptionally conservative broadsheet The Daily Telegraph, who I'm absolutely sure would never post such a photograph. Their readership's idea of sexy photos are more likely to feature Margaret Hilda than Taylor Alison.

@LuFins-Dad said in I could use a side gig: Non-Union… Don’t know how the website works (how it categorize and present information), but the “non-union” label may refer to the production/project being generally “non-union” rather than stating a requirement that the “applicant” be “non-union.”

Secret Service hints it wasn’t behind salon break-in during Kamala Harris campaign event "The U.S. Secret Service works closely with our partners in the business community to carry out our protective and investigative missions," USSS spokeswoman Melissa McKenzie said in a statement. McKenzie said the Secret Service has been in contact with Powers since the July 27 incident. "We hold these relationships in the highest regard and our personnel would not enter, or instruct our partners to enter, a business without the owner’s permission," McKenzie said, stopping short of saying who was responsible. Powers told Business Insider that "several people" who were "in and out for about an hour-and-a-half – just using my bathroom, the alarms going off, using my counter, with no permission." "And then when they were done using the bathroom for two hours, they left, and left my building completely unlocked, and did not take the tape off the camera," she added. Powers later said that a USSS representative contacted her after Business Insider sought comment from the agency for comment on the incident.

Speaking of bullriders... My wife has kinfolk down at Larto Lake. Larto used to really be on the tail-end of nowhere. Fishing is usually pretty good though. Sometimes my friend, the wife and I, would take his big boat and run down there. Do some fishing and visit relatives...Kind of a twofer. Oftentimes, you'd be trying to fish, working around structure on the end of the lake and you'd hear a bunch of young lads whooping and hollering with a cowbell just a clangin'. Sometimes it was hard to see what was going on, with several old worn out trucks scattered around Bud's house. But we knew. Bud's boy was practicing bullriding. You can make a practice bull out of an old oil drum. You drive four posts in the ground, tie ropes to the drum and posts, snubbing the ropes pretty tight with just a hair of slack. You put your rigging on the barrel and guys will pull and jerk on the ropes to simulate the movement of a bull. You can mimic most things, except for a spin. Anyway, that bunch of young cowboys probably wore the ropes out on that old barrel. Probably terrorized half the yearlings in the community while they were at it. Bud's boy never did become a really good bullrider. Kid took a growth spurt and grew as tall as his 6'2" dad. Too tall for bulls. One of the lads tended to be better on the barrel than the rest of them...Little guy, wasn't much bigger than a minute. Guess he had a lower center of gravity. Or just more determination and grit. Anyway, he rode a lot locally and then hit the rodeo circuit. Kid did ok. You might have heard of him, back in the day... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Shivers [image: R.60ea51ec8a17947096d33d38ecdaa8d9?rik=MDBoXkxPRGHFfw&riu=http%3a%2f%2fbloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com%2fbillingsgazette.com%2fcontent%2ftncms%2fassets%2fv3%2feditorial%2fe%2f0f%2fe0f6c185-9b47-5e91-9e71-f26214cceaf7%2fe0f6c185-9b47-5e91-9e71-f26214cceaf7.preview-300.jpg&ehk=LX%2fE%2bIW9k8QrBLqAkBCiq%2fxDGB8npmK64SPI9Oknguc%3d&risl=&pid=ImgRaw&r=0]

Something else we now know. How is it that this is coming out 4 weeks later? https://triblive.com/local/records-show-trump-rally-gunman-thomas-crooks-practiced-dozens-of-times-at-clairton-rifle-range/ Thomas Crooks, the would-be assassin, logged dozens of visits to a local sportsman’s club for rifle practice before shooting Trump and three other people at a July 13 rally in Butler County, according to records provided Thursday to the media by U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. The information released by Grassley showed that Crooks visited a rifle range the day before he opened fire at the Butler Farm Show grounds, striking the former president in the ear, killing rally-goer Corey Comperatore and seriously wounding two others. Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, made frequent visits to Clairton Sportsman’s Club to practice his shooting, including on some holidays. Crooks became a member of the club — which spans 180 acres in West Mifflin and Jefferson Hills and boasts more than 2,000 members — on Aug. 10, 2023, according to the records from Grassley’s office. The club has several rifle ranges, including at least one that is 200 yards. Investigators have said Crooks fired an AR-style rifle at the former president from the roof of a building less than 150 yards from Trump’s stage. Crooks signed in for target practice 20 times within the first four months of his membership, the documents showed, and averaged three to six practices per month this year. In total, Crooks signed in at the range 43 times. Grassley’s office described Crooks’ visits as “intense preparation in the months prior to his attempted assassination of the former president.” Crooks spent about 80% of his time at the gun club on rifle practice, according to the records. Attendance logs show Crooks never brought a guest with him to the range, even when he spent holidays there. He logged time at the range on Valentine’s Day this year, and on Christmas and Halloween last year. Crooks’ last visit to the gun range was logged at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, July 12 — the day before the rally, where he was fatally shot by a Secret Service sniper.

@Mik said in The fun never sets!: @LuFins-Dad said in The fun never sets!: And now @89th has Mik’s address and can pull up 32 satellite pictures of Mik sunbathing… Proceed at the risk to your own vision. Ha! Nice job on the kitchen, love how it's turning out. We have a double sink and I look forward to the eventual replacement with a big single sink, which we had in Virginia (you are right, it was great for the baby baths, too). The pull-out trash drawer might be your biggest win if it's where you prep. Great floors too. And my wife also likes to buy foods or gadgets to try and then forget about them... it's a sensitive subject where I'd do a purge this afternoon if I know it wouldn't cause me to convince her why half the stuff in the pantry and kitchen drawers aren't used (nor will be), so I'm jealous of your purge!

@jon-nyc said in QR Code scams: @Axtremus Do you use such an app? If so, which? This one I have been using for a few years: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/free-qr-code-reader-simply-to-scan-a-qr-code/id1068766238 It works well, though it seems to have started displaying ads recently (OK by me, no qualm with software developers making a buck). This may become my new favorite: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/qr-pro-easy-qr-code-scanner/id1013912824 Because it can also decode barcodes, no ad, no “in-app purchase,” and the developer says it does not collect any data.

PFF’s a joke. Windmon’s not even a practice squad prospect and was playing against scrubs. Payton Wilson played against the Houston’s 1st teamers and had 2 TFL, 6 solo tackles, and a QB pressure.
