Saw a nature documentary on lions years ago. One thing I remember, was they focused on one young male who left to form his own pride. That male HATED hyenas for some reason. Would kill them whenever he could.
They had a video of him busting into a group and chasing the remnants. He laid out three hyenas before you could spit.
The locals had a name for him, that roughly translated means he who brings the fire.
