I wonder how much the Biden administration paid to move the quarter of a million "migrants" out of South America and drop them off in upstate New York in the middle of the night.

Statements of pure, objective fact are not "insults". They are simple facts. If anybody doesn't understand the facts in that picture, then maybe that person is a morally corrupt Republican. Anybody like that, is not welcome at my holiday table. Period.

McFarren was originally nominated by Obama. After her 4 years were up she was renominated by Trump.

@Doctor-Phibes said in The Vinyl Revival - So wrong on so many levels: @jon-nyc said in The Vinyl Revival - So wrong on so many levels: It ain’t just nostalgia. The boy got a tube amp (Vox) a few months back and asked for a turntable for Christmas. : Humbly speaking as somebody who used to play in a band equipped with what would now be quite valuable vintage Vox AC 30's, I'd say it is a little hard to justify. The modern gear nowadays does stuff we could only dream of, and it doesn't break down all the time. Ayup. $2500 in gear that you probably have already bought for other reasons will outperform $200K of gear in 1990.

@Horace said in Whither the GOP post Trump 2020 election loss: @jon-nyc said in Whither the GOP post Trump 2020 election loss: If someone tried to forcefully take over your property and the state forced a settlement on you that ceded 25% of it to the aggressor, would you consider that a loss? I refer you to the second half of my one-sentence post. "as compared to <whatever the hell anybody expected if Kamala had won>." What hypothetical outcome, in a Harris regime, are you comparing Trump's "handing Putin a W" to? She would not hand him a W? If your point is ‘Putin might still be successful even with us helping Ukraine rather than coercing their surrender’ that’s true as far as it goes, but that’s very different than the US formally recognizing the land grab and lifting sanctions and encouraging Europe to do the same.

@Horace said in Hey Aqua: @89th said in Hey Aqua: @jon-nyc said in Hey Aqua: And I successfully evaded the cop. It’s one of my 3-0 success stories in losing cops. I briefly thought about beginning a life of crime at that point. Not to nit pick, but you would have been continuing a life of crime at that point. Similarly, you are currently taking a break from your life of crime. Considering the total statutes, laws, ordinances and HOA regulations currently on the books, I think it would be fair to say that we are all in some way, knowingly or not, continuing a life of crime. And Horace, contrary to what you may hear out there on the streets, there is no such thing as a victimless crime.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/informant-accused-feeding-fbi-bogus-biden-information-pleads-guilty-4-counts Former FBI source Alexander Smirnov has struck a plea agreement with the office of special counsel David Weiss, agreeing to plead guilty on several counts. The document notes that Smirnov is agreeing to plead guilty to "Count Two of the indictment in United States v. Alexander Smirnov … which charges defendant with causing the creation of a false and fictitious record in a federal investigation … " and agreeing to plead guilty to charges of tax evasion. Smirnov is accused of providing false information to the FBI. He signed off on a statement of facts in support of the plea agreement, which echoes allegations that had been made against him in an indictment. Smirnov allegedly "provided false derogatory information to the FBI about Public Official 1, an elected official in the Obama-Biden Administration who left office in January 2017, and Businessperson 1, the son of Public Official 1, in 2020, after Public Official 1 became a candidate for President of the United States of America." The allegation apparently refers to President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, though the two are not specifically identified by name.

@George-K said in TNT, Food Network, Freeform, Discovery, INSP, Hallmark Mystery, TLC, TBS, History, HGTV, USA, MSNBC, Paramount, Hallmark Channel, ESPN and Fox News.: The ability to quickly switch from one channel to another during commercials Youtube TV has that now. I use it during the football, when an ad comes on I switch to the other game - just 1 click. I guess that would also depend on your tv, remote and streaming app platform (I use XBox).

Progressive whites have little shaming power over non-whites, which is why the non-whites are the least stable part of their coalition.

@Doctor-Phibes said in Hand off.: @Jolly said in Hand off.: Has there ever been a successful series handed off by the author that maintained the quality of the original? The Bible. Brandon Sanderson managed to actually finish The Wheel of Time series, something that was clearly beyond the original author, Robert Jordan. I’ll agree with Phibes, here. Sanderson did a nice job ending The Wheel of Time. The weird thing is now Sanderson has built this huge fantasy epic tying in like 5 different series, and is at real risk of not being able to finish it adequately.
