Last one done was my granddaughter. The eye exam was done at an America's Best shop (I got the twofer special for her). My wife is a retired opthalmic tech and she knows more about this than I do. GD was dilated, the tech checked the pressure, and took the photos of the retina and optic nerve, and did an auto refraction. GD then had a zoom(?) meeting with an optometrist. The tech put the readings from the auto refraction into a foreopter and the optom had GD look through it, while he did the "better or worse" dance. IIRC, the foreopter had a wire running into it, because the optom was controlling lens selection remotely. The optometrist reviewed the photos, signed off no noted problems and cut the script electronically.

You should listen to some of his piano music. I really enjoy the "Four Blues." A teacher I had wanted me to learn to piano sonata, but it didn't grab me. The problem with "Fanfare" is that it is SO overplayed. Every time I hear the 3rd symphony, and that theme is played, I think, "Oh, again..."

You know, I think we almost had the mullahs shoved off the cliff, until Biden threw them a financial lifeline. Time to drag them back. And kick them over.

@kluurs A few years ago, I went to an estate sale where the individual who passed was a CD collector. It was the first time where I encountered a collection that was comparable - or possibly larger than mine. He also had a large library of books. The house was dark - windows covered - most walls dedicated to shelves for the books and CDs. The deceased owner had been a psychiatrist. One of the psychiatrists who purchased truckloads of classical CDs, hired someone to come to his home and catalogue his collection of music. It took six months. As an aside, that same psychiatrist when I met him in 2014 was already on his fourth marriage. I think that by the time I fully retired six years later, that one had ended and he was contemplating that perhaps the marriage thing wasn’t for him after all. Wasn’t too sure though.

Years ago, DC said they can't return to DC with the name Redskins. That was before the change. Now they are talking about changing back to Redskins. What will DC think of that?
