No, all kinds of crap spouted off today because a Steelers reporter mentioned that fans shouldn’t expect an extension to happen immediately, the Steelers and Watt want to make sure it’s done right, and as it will be a complicated extension thanks to the bag of cash Myles Garrett got from the Browns, it probably won’t happen until training camp or later and Watt will likely hold-in during camp. Meaning he’ll participate in workouts and meetings but not full contact sessions.
So this set a contingent of nuts fans off, and all kinds of crazy rumors have popped up. Watt is a generational player. You keep him his entire career. Nothing worse than a Hall of Fame player known for two teams, IMO.
