So we are careful about the apps that Finley can access on his tablet. One of the apps that he wanted to try was iHeart Radio - Kids. It’s filled with stations with music for young children, 3-8. Parents can go in and hide whatever channels that they want, but I didn’t figure it would be that big of a deal, so we downloaded the app, and I quickly started browsing the channels. 4 of the 20 odd channels were “pride” channels, including Disney Pride. For 3-8 year olds. WTAF.

@LuFins-Dad It's like "they" have to indoctrinate others in order to feel better about themselves. One could argue that is a common trait among many groups that are in a never ending subconscious battle to justify their own choices.

Deliberately reprogramming the culture. Propaganda is not new, nor the realization that it creates sincerely held truths in the hearts of the people programmed by the culture. But that deliberate reprogramming is often at odds with observable information, so it's an uphill climb to modify the culture in that case. And those attempts create potential backlash. "Woke" was/is all about reprogramming culture. But it bit off more than it could chew, and the backlash eventually got capitalized on at the ballot box by Trump.

Oh, it goes far beyond that. There is a built in narcissistic trait at the base of it that requires them to “Exhibit” themselves. Have you noticed that Drag Queen Story Hours aren’t dressed like Mrs. Doubtfire, but are instead dressed like Tina Turner? When reading for toddlers?
