@Renauda yeah. If southeastern Ukraine was his goal all the time, would he have committed all the personnel and materiel around Kiev?

Well, he is right about that.
My rants about Merkel are well-documented here
But most Germans still believe she was a good chancellor. We are still in denial about a large number of issues.
