@Copper said in Vanishing Snowpack: So billionaire democrats can't fly in their private jets to go skiing. Tough No, they will hire tanker planes to fly in water and make artificial snow for themself. LOL

@LuFins-Dad said in Tacozilla!: Let's combine two of 89th's planned vacations, Disneyworld and an RV: You can rent this for a week at $1160 - https://www.korvrental.com/eagle-312bh-luxury-travel-trailer-38 The campsite at Fort Wilderness is $744 for 6 nights... So basically $1900 for a week. That's actually not too bad. Now take into account that I can rent a 1-bedroom villa onsite https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/destinations/list/florida/animal-kingdom-villas-jambo/points-rooms/#default=1/0/0/1/ from one of the Disney Vacation Club Members for $2400 - https://dvcrequest.com/ Haha thanks for the analysis. While it's years away, going the RV road-trip route is not about saving money or comfort, but the experience going from point A to B to C to D to E to F, the "choose a direction" freedom, etc. If it matters, what I'm envisioning is like a 3-4 week circuit from Minnesota down to the Grand Canyon, up through the Sierras, into the northwest, then back through Montana, North Dakota, and home. Something like that

I find it hard to believe anyone would hire Cuomo in any journalism position.

Russia is known for its sophisticated trolling of American culture. Fake BLM accounts, etc. It is not difficult to view the arrest and imprisonment of a prominent culture warrior, in that light.

I wonder if it will cause a measurable move towards dividends rather than buybacks.

Actually...I see a lot of similarities in the way public health approached AIDS and how they have approached monkey pox. They trod on eggshells the first time, modifying medical science to fit a segment of society. It was wrong then and it's wrong now.

If ever there should be a meritocracy, it should be in the healing arts. When your life, or your loved ones lives are on the line, who has time for woke?

Maybe they would install a maximum weight rule for goalies or something. 555 At one time, a baseball team fielded a midget dwarf small short person. The "strike zone" was correspondingly small. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Gaedel

@89th said in GOP Primary Losers Refuse to Accept Election Results: https://dnyuz.com/2022/08/03/kari-lake-cried-foul-at-election-results-then-she-started-winning/ Well, this is awkward. She may end up winning but has already declared the election results cannot be trusted. LOL When the initial votes in Arizona started rolling in Tuesday night and Kari Lake was trailing, she and her fellow MAGA allies resorted to a familiar election-night tactic: They cried foul. But overnight, Lake made up the ground she’d lost to Karrin Taylor Robson, her main rival for Arizona’s GOP nomination for governor. Now, on the cusp of winning the hotly contested primary, Lake and her allies found themselves squirming to explain how the election she was on track to win was still, somehow, as corrupt and fraudulent as they’d already claimed it was. “There is no path to victory for my opponent, and we won this race, period,” Lake proudly declared to a group of supporters, but that didn’t stop her from cautioning them that fraud was occurring. “But there’s a ton of problems with the system,” the candidate warned, before immediately predicting victory again. “We are going to win this when the votes are counted,” the candidate said. “We are not going to take our election systems being this messed up.” Before Lake even spoke, MAGAworld pundits were already at work spreading rumors, without evidence, that election wrongdoing was underway. See Maricopa county remark above.
