Excellent idea. So much of this stuff gets farmed out and they don't have access to code. There's a security concern, but I think that can be handled.

@Jolly The trend is not by any means, exclusive to the US: https://www.statcan.gc.ca/en/statistical-programs/document/3232_D3_V1 I still do not believe there is an issue of any real concern here.

Tonight was chicken & dumplings with a baked sweet tater. It's been a bit cool and raining today, so the food fit the weather.

EXPOSED: America's Secret Censorship-Industrial Complex Our findings are shocking. A highly-organized network of U.S. government agencies and government contractors has been creating blacklists and pressuring social media companies to censor Americans, often without them knowing it. We and others have already reported on some of the actions of this complex, including its disinformation campaigns. But the extent of its censorship was unknown to us until very recently. And, as importantly, we now understand the ways in which this complex simultaneously spreads disinformation and demands censorship.

@Mik said in Meanwhile, at Horace's home...: There should be a Horace award. I mean, if there can be an Oscar, why not? I think Oscar has no balls, but I might be wrong.

I'd be willing to bet the commute was a lot better than the actual work.

So cool. It amazes me how far some of these marine animals travel. (George who saw Canada geese migrating back south today.)

I've known my family practice doc since college. It would be one of those "I'll show you mine, if you'll show me yours" conversations.

@Mik said in A Clear and Present Danger: Yep. It’s said green is a religion. It is certainly faith-based. It's going to be a short-lived religion. When Greta is shivering in the dark and her solar powered flashlight doesn't shine bright enough to see the path to the outhouse, she (or any of the rest of them) won't care what they burn to make the electricity generating turbines go round...

@Mik said in I think a red tide could be comin'.: It's hard to imagine the two parties will offer us up the same two candidates again. Maybe the Libertarians or the Greens or whoever will win because no one else shows up to vote. I'll have what he's having...
