Seems it would have to be better than ECT. I've seen personalities just wiped out by it.

@Jon said in Stupid Fat Man confesses to federal crime on tape, provides motive: @Jolly said in Stupid Fat Man confesses to federal crime on tape, provides motive: B) I thought his fiscal policy last time was good $6.7T debt increase. Ok. Judicial appointments you’d get under any R. Choosing from the FedSoc list is pretty much standard promise now for all GOP candidates. I’m guessing it’s mostly about C. For most every Trump loyalist. To be fair, much of that was COVID induced. In the economy's defense, real wages went up. If one is well off or doing pretty well, that's not life altering. If you are a single mom working two jobs to make ends meet, it's a Godsend.

I very much hope they hadn't put the milk in first. Wars have been fought over less.

Oh. Seems a bit capricious. Maybe pompous too.

I was in a meeting yesterday, and one guy wore a mask all the way through. OK, super cautious you think, but it didn't cover his nose.

Sunnunu is a classic Northeast moderate Republican. He might do quite well in the NE. He's DOA below the Mason-Dixon and much of the Midwest.

@Mik said in What are your plans for the day?: @Jon said in What are your plans for the day?: @George-K Mine would too but I pass it all the time or just walk there in 10m. What I love about NYC is there’s fluff and folds all over the place. Not so much here. I would gladly pay to relieve my bride of that chore. I don’t need dry cleaning much anymore. Just used the service coming back from vacation. I appreciated it, my wife less so.

@Jon said in The myth of expired food: The worst are prescription drug expiration dates. Almost universally it’s one year after it’s dispensed. What a stunning coincidence that compounds developed on earth uniformly expire after one rotation of the globe. As long as eye drops are clear, constantly refrigerated, and remain clear, they're good for several years.

@LuFins-Dad said in Strange World: @Aqua-Letifer said in Strange World: @89th said in Strange World: I'd be more concerned about the idea that a Disney Movie about saving a plant is an effective way to teach earth science... Doesn't teach earth science, but it's about the most effective way possible to teach them to give a shit about earth science. Yeah, I wasn't commenting on this particular movie, just the general idea of showing kids in a classroom a movie.

Muzzle awareness, at all times. Had a good buddy that left a ricochet hole in an interior house door as a reminder. He was cleaning a .357 and thought he had emptied the cylinder. One round was stuck, though. When he cycled the gun and let the hammer fall, he shot his floor. The bullet ricocheted off the floor and through an interior door. Good muzzle awareness, so nobody was hurt. A lesson learned the hard way, by one of the best men with a handgun I've ever seen.

The ukulele I purchased in January was built to raise funds for Bill's son in law who is suffering from this. I forwarded this article to him. I hope he qualifies for it.

Thus the phrase "climate change" was born, and "global warming", disowned.
