And many also require foreign companies that do business in mainland China to take on a local partner. The speed might be about the same, maybe a little faster in the jet. There are turboprops that are much faster. I don't know for sure, but the operating cost might be lower in this jet. A single private pilot can fly it, but you need an add-on endorsements for high-altitude and a type-rating for the jet. The parachute is a big deal. Showing off the jet to your friends is worth something.
