The idea of forcing people to leave at gunpoint makes me very uncomfortable. However, the thought that somebody would use a law as a justification for not acting in their constituents best interests also makes me uncomfortable. And the thought of people refusing to leave, and then expecting other people to risk their lives as a result is also quite difficult. That's about where I'm at, too. I mean, yeah, they should probably leave in a situation like that, but I dunno if it'd be in their best interest to be forced to do so. As for putting rescue teams in harm's way, it's a drop in the bucket. Their entire career is based on saving people from themselves and their ignorant decisions.

But...We need no laws on credit card interest or fees, right? Greed is good.
