I wonder if the study controlled for how sick patients were when they started therapy.

@Mik said in The Martyr: It won’t be long until some intrepid journalist looks into the financing of other NY development projects I believe it was Turley who wrote that this ruling can have a devastating effect on NY real estate.

Obligated. I suspect the person with knowledge is the priest who performed the ceremony.

https://www.grunge.com/1096897/bill-maher-facts-about-the-comedian-and-talk-show-host/ One of the comedian's frequent guests on his show is the right-wing pundit Ann Coulter. Maher refuses to heed the haters like usual and will have whoever he wants on "Real Time," but Coulter is a special case because their relationship goes beyond being simply colleagues as political commentators who are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Regardless of their differences, the two are close friends. On top of their on-screen appearances together, both have separately defended the other. When Coulter was on "Hannity" and the host was critical of Maher, she responded, "I obviously don't agree with his politics. I like him. He's a true and loyal friend, he always has been, and he bought me dinner. So, I'm not going to say anything bad about him ... I'm easy. I'm a cheap date" (via Mediaite). Likewise, Maher was asked by Variety why he has Coulter on his show, and he said, "She's not stupid. I don't exactly read her books. But I know from when we've covered her issues in the past, it's not like she doesn't do research."

@Wim said in Immigrants in the Netherlands: RadioGenoa. Not really an objective source ... From what I've seen of their tweets, I think you're right. Here's the AP version of the story: https://apnews.com/article/eritrea-government-rioting-hague-netherlands-0c4b92ee3e38242fc82736851341f342 Rioting broke out between two rival groups of Eritreans in the Netherlands on Saturday night, police said. Officers used tear gas in an attempt to quell the unrest in The Hague as rioters torched police cars and a bus. Images from the scene showed vehicles in flames and dozens of men in the street, some throwing rocks. “It got seriously out of hand,” The Hague Municipality spokesman Robin Middel said. Middel said a group loyal to Eritrea’s government was holding a meeting when the venue was attacked by Eritreans who oppose the African nation’s government. Police spokeswoman Kristianne van Blanken said she could not immediately say if anybody was injured or if any rioters were arrested. The fighting is the latest outbreak of violence at Eritrean events in Europe.

I think that the % of parents are more involved with their kids if they are homeschooled vs, a public school is higher. Parent involvement is key to having kids do well in school.

@George-K said in Immaculate Conception?: He said there have been few cases of parthenogenesis in rays." This is my guess. I think this happens in fish/amphipians that is not so uncommon.

That is interesting. There have been a lot of US rural hospitals in the US closing. I think as Jolly says, lack of staff and lack of money. I too am curious as to why there is that lack of staff and lack of money?

I've been through a lot of that country as recently as 2015. It's rough as a cob. All the industry is gone or going. There's no reason for any kids to stay there. The 1question is not whether DC cares or not, but what can they do?

In recent years, most fullbacks have been converted from other positions. The Steeler fullback in the 2012-2019 period, Roosevelt Nix came to camp as a Linebacker and the staff converted him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roosevelt_Nix_(fullback) We were experimenting with a guard at last camp https://apnews.com/article/pittsburgh-steelers-nfl-mike-tomlin-810d7299bb2e628206ee7a744d9863b4 Ultimately, we called Connor Heyward a fullback, though he was more of an H-Back or TE. Now that we have Arthur Smith as OC, we’re expecting that Fullback will make a return. Smith hardly ever runs 3-4 wide… He almost always runs heavier sets. 12 or 13 personnel… The question is whether they will ask Connor to put on the poundage to become a true FB or whether they will bring in somebody else. I’m hoping they keep Heyward, but don’t force him to put on too much weight. He plays heavier than he is in the blocking game, but also is an okay receiver… We also have a unique opportunity since our “scatback” plays like a FB and loves to hit people… Link to video Link to video I tend to think that we could run some interesting combos using Warren or Heyward in lieu of the bruising FB and be fine.
