That was funny, and if true, good to see.

It'll be amusing watching the tenor of the mainstream conversation, if Trump supporters exercise some first amendment rights when they're upset about something after the coming election. There will be so much bloodlust and keyboard masturbation.

Kind of crazy. People have obsessions that take many forms.

The concept of company provided housing is still pretty common in Asia. It is considered part of teh overall compensation. You dont pay any rent or anything, but if you leave the company, you have to leave the house/apartment.

@Mik said in Charcuterie: Lunchable is as English as it gets. Apparently, the word lunch is derived from the word 'lump', which leads us inexorably to a small dining establishment in Northern England.

Describing somebody who worked as a sports-writer for the Daily Mail as a 'Big Pharma Journalist' is a bit much, even for the Citizen Free Press.

We need to fire Andy Weidl and Omar Khan immediately and replace them with this guy! He’s BRILLIANT! It astounds me how little Steeler fans know about Football. We are the smack in the middle of the hot spring of greatest NFL coaches.. Cowher, Ditka, Chuck Knox, Marty Schottenheimer, Marvin Lewis, and more… Let’s talk greatest players… Joe Montana, Aaron Donald, Dan Marino, Leary Fitzgerald, Darrell’s Revis,Tony Dorset, Curtis Martin, Russ Grimm… Pittsburgh also is tied as the greatest franchise over the Super Bowl Era. New England has tied us in Lombardis, but they were all over a 15 year period. You would think Pittsburgh would have some intelligent fans… Nope. “Let’s trade for Justin Fields”! If Fields was any good, he wouldn’t be traded. “Let’s trade for a washed up and average at best Russel Wilson!” If he was any good, Payton would be keeping him. Beyond that, why give something away when he will be cut? “Let’s trade the 2 time DPOY that just led the league in sacks and forced fumbles!” WTF is wrong with you? As to his cap hit, the deal will be restructured. Pittsburgh is in pretty good shape capwise. Why? Because we aren’t paying $40 Million for fvcking Russel Wilson (which you assume if you trade for) As an aside, @Jolly , guess who Pittsburgh believes will be their number 1 competitor for signing Mason? Don't see it. I think DA is riding the Carr. Saints will draft OT in the first round. Now, don't be surprised if the Saints do something absolutely wild...They might trade down. They only have 5 picks and have no third or fourth round picks. If they could move down a few picks and pick up a mid-third rounder, I think they'd do it. Not the Saints… Payton and the Broncos… Payton? Yep, I could see that one. Wilson is a gone puh-cawn.

I was pretty surprised by how little a GOP majority Congress got done in Trump's first two years. Underwhelming.

That one is in Natchitoches and was my go-to lunch place if I was feeding the sheriff, fire chief or the clerk of court (I did a lot of business in that parish and the restaurant is close to the courthouse). It's still an old place, with its own ambience. They make a good Natchitoches meat pie or red beans and rice. If you're eating in Nachitoches... Southern Classic Fried chicken. Not in the best part of town, but it's the original restaurant of a small chain. At lunch you'll see po black folk, college kids and businessmen all getting fried chicken. Another fast food (but good) place is Peggy's. They make fresh pizzas from the dough up. Better than any of the chain stuff. Mama's Oyster House down on Front Street is a good lunch place. Lastly, supper would be at Mariner's, Merci Beaucoup or Maglieaux's. All are decent.
