@Mik said in The fun never sets!: @LuFins-Dad said in The fun never sets!: And now @89th has Mik’s address and can pull up 32 satellite pictures of Mik sunbathing… Proceed at the risk to your own vision. Ha! Nice job on the kitchen, love how it's turning out. We have a double sink and I look forward to the eventual replacement with a big single sink, which we had in Virginia (you are right, it was great for the baby baths, too). The pull-out trash drawer might be your biggest win if it's where you prep. Great floors too. And my wife also likes to buy foods or gadgets to try and then forget about them... it's a sensitive subject where I'd do a purge this afternoon if I know it wouldn't cause me to convince her why half the stuff in the pantry and kitchen drawers aren't used (nor will be), so I'm jealous of your purge!

Left over Thai from Saturday night. We spent the day at the air show and didn’t feel like cooking.

@jon-nyc said in QR Code scams: @Axtremus Do you use such an app? If so, which? This one I have been using for a few years: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/free-qr-code-reader-simply-to-scan-a-qr-code/id1068766238 It works well, though it seems to have started displaying ads recently (OK by me, no qualm with software developers making a buck). This may become my new favorite: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/qr-pro-easy-qr-code-scanner/id1013912824 Because it can also decode barcodes, no ad, no “in-app purchase,” and the developer says it does not collect any data.

They go on to say that there may have been contributory factors, like sclerosis of the arteries in the inner ear.

PFF’s a joke. Windmon’s not even a practice squad prospect and was playing against scrubs. Payton Wilson played against the Houston’s 1st teamers and had 2 TFL, 6 solo tackles, and a QB pressure.

So why was it deemed a suicide. The only clue is that the door was locked from the inside. This is what happens when people want to get an answer, any answer. Doesn't have to be right, just has to be an answer.

I'm stable, losing very slowly - much more so than ever in the past. Plus I'm building muscle pretty rapidly. This last week without a kitchen has not been great but I haven't gained anything back, despite several Doordash and restaurant meals.

There you go. Mostly peaceful, except for the severely brain-injured cop. One of the suspects was charged Saturday with assault of a special victim, resisting arrest and property damage. He was ordered held on $500,000 cash only bond. No information was immediately listed in online court records, so it wasn’t known if he had an attorney yet. Doyle said that for the majority of the night, the protesters were peaceful. He said police allowed them to block the street outside the station, posting a squad car on each end, so they wouldn’t be hit by vehicles.
