I see them occasionally around here. Might be the same one for all I know.

My sister shared the memos about no hiring and back to the office with me. Reminder she works for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. I recently said they like to act like a government agency when it’s convenient to them and a private company when it’s convenient to them. But my guess is they’ll end up complying.

Just think ...In the old four team playoff, neither of these teams would have made the cut.

Maybe I am missing something. A bit "energetic", but doesn't seem crazy to me.

Ours stay close at night. Right by my chair in a box and bed. [image: 1737427251422-img_4786.jpeg]

I didn't start drinking until after dinner, so I'm innocent of that one.

@George-K said in Boos at the inauguration?: @Mik said in Boos at the inauguration?: The renaming stuff is symbolic, and imo a complete waste of time. Yes. So why did the ODGCM do it? He didn’t know he did.

Fun to watch, very human characters. Not sure what else they can do with it, but willing to try.

Havent' followed his story too closely. However, suing is expensive. I can see him not doing so because of the lack of resources.

By the way, I hadn’t read the article but came across the money quote elsewhere. It’s worth a good laugh: “If I was Lady McBiden, I’d put on my big girl pants, play the long game and think about my husband’s legacy,” Alexandra Pelosi, the former speaker’s daughter, told me Saturday. “There aren’t that many people left in America who have something nice to say about Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi is one of them.” The younger Pelosi made clear she was speaking only for herself.

@AndyD said in Saved by God to Make America Great Again!: Wow, the prophet has spoken and everything is now or will soon be, simply wonderful. Thankfully no rioting this time. It wouldn’t matter. All those people who rioted and burned cars eight years ago had their charges dropped.

@George-K said in Governor Ramaswamy?: IOW, "I'm more of an ideas man". I actually once said that in a management meeting after they asked for volunteers for some godawful task, to be greeted with guffaws from my fellow Brit. As somebody else kindly pointed out, I haven't had a good idea in 20 years.

@Jolly said in Climate Change moves Trump's Inauguration: I think custom hats start in the $400 range, but a good one will cost more. Maybe Trump can take advantage of a licensing opportunity, and sell gold plated ones for $50,000. Admittedly, the gold would be a terrible heat sink, but it would be reflective in the cold weather.
