@taiwan_girl Agreed. To repeat you and @George-K , was this not offensive to her before? One of my biggest gripes with this latest woke trend is...well, I haven't changed my position on anything. If anything, I've learned how false the narrative is behind BLM. Nonetheless, one of my biggest grips are folks who are now "learning... listening... supporting..." so in my mind they are only now catching up to where most people (or I can only speak for myself) have already been.

    Everyone spots the cheese.
    Some people spot the trap.
(no, I didn't make that up, but I like it)

I’d like to read about the bill from a more disinterested source.

For example, are they really ending qualified immunity? Or curtailing it?

It was wonderful. And I hope done in two ways. I hope she still had a solo recording for the graduation ceremony.

In a clinical setting, it’s fair to expect that some patient under circumstances can actually utter the phrase “I can’t breathe”, so in that sense I figure it’s fair to use that phrase in a medical school exam question. I guess a rephrasing like “patient communicates that he/she is experiencing severe difficulty in breathing” may convey the same meaning, more words, but minus the emotional trigger. Wonder if, years from now, some future doctors may get triggered when hearing the “I can’t breathe” phrase in an actual clinical setting.

Here's a good example of the difference between a Lefty and a Righty.

The Lefty attempts to accommodate the stupidity.

The Righty tells them to grow the fuck up.

This 4shared thing sucks. It will go to the audio, but when you click play a popup opens. If you're lucky you can simple click your back button and it will play. If not, you'll have to back all the way out and try again.

Interesting (especially the part about the turtles.)

(I was expecting the shape to be a bit more "exciting" to be honest)

No, Pelosi held up funds for everyone, not just Indians. You'd know that if you got your information from reliable sources instead of the WashingtonPist.

Well, I stumbled upon the problem while looking at a solution (this one), so I don't really have "my" method.

@Jolly Most speeding tickets aren’t for someone driving 90 in a 55, it’s somebody doing 41 in a 35. And if somebody is driving 90, well that would be reasonable cause.

I used to consider 90 right lane stuff. I only have one speeding ticket on my record, a 78 in a 60mph zone. I was doing about 115 when I saw the cop.

Yes, there are idiots out there...

Well @Larry it looks like the number of cops calling out is "higher than usual".

I try to watch Tucker as often as I can.
He is abrasive, but never gives his monologue without a well-argued and often facts-based foundation.
Tonight he was great. I disagreed with quite a bit, frankly, but it was a good argument: me against the TV. Mostly about the cop charged against the taser-stealing guy, I found that Tucker's perspective left out a lot, as I've presented in another thread around here somewhere.

He says things no one else dares to say, sometimes. Things that lots of people might be thinking, but cannot articulate due to backlash.
He just doesn't care about the backlash, and certainly never suffers fools.
