    I haven't heard much about people who actually made these vaccines.

    Lots of chatter about how much credit the WH should get on the vaccine.

    I haven't specifically looked for this info - I'm sure it's out there - but I'm a little surprised that I haven't heard more stories about the specific teams and people that made the vaccines.

      That would involve reporters/journalists leaving the office to go out and get the story.

      I have also noticed it is rare that you see a covid victim, cured, dead or otherwise.

      I guess, a news story that doesn't involve Mr. Trump isn't a news story.

      This might change someday.

        Wait wut? All year I heard no vaccine and no one would take it and now suddenly it’s who gets credit? How about Trump for at least being most accurate about it working and timing of availability?

                  @george-k

                  True, he equivocated a lot and his prognostications about having one before election day, while frequent, were usually couched in qualifying language.

                  But if you want to call 'end of year' his base prediction I don't see how you'd say he has any special claim to being 'right'.

                          I think Trump does deserve some credit, but calling it 'The Trump vaccine' is ignoring a lot of other people who deserve as much or more credit. I'd guess there are a lot of people who've spent a lot of time away from their families to get this done.

                                Agree. President Trump should get credit. He "smooth" the wheel from the government side when it was needed.

                                But as you said, thousands and thousands of hours of work (alot of which was done over the past 10+ years) has been done by a lot of unknown people who also deserve credit.
