I think the main rationale for mail ballots this year was Covid.

I doubt that the huge amount of mail voting would have happened without the pandemic.

Been trending that way in the Great Northwet, even without COVID.

This quote from the article was funny (to me)

“ I am looking at a ward-by-ward spreadsheet that strikes me as a legitimate.“

Legitimate because it has data that support his view? LOL

No, voting patterns and numbers that appear to be legitimate.

I'm sure he or she was just being sarcastic.

And lots of other people have broken the law. Look at Hunter Biden!

Please. The MSM refused to do so.

    Except for FoxNews, obviously.

An outlier in a sea of media looking the other way.

Perhaps this election is finally the last nail in the coffin of much of the MSM.

I haven't read it anywhere terribly credible yet, but I doubt whoever he installs would be substantially better.

Looks like we'll be at 309/229 when this is over.

Does the 229 include Alaska? If not, would be 232.

My guess of 203 was mainly off because Florida went red. Oh well!

I was very sure Biden would win. Not because I wanted it. Just because I felt that trump just went too far. He gave away this election. Played to the base the whole last month when he should have been trying to placate people on the fence.

    Sad in a way.

I agree. His most admiring people were going to vote for him, no matter what.

“Blue” Virginia actually passed a constitutional amendment preventing the blue state government from redistricting and creates a bipartisan committee including citizens to handle it.

We had a similar amendment pass in Ohio a couple years ago.

    Maybe.

    Depends on...

How many votes they can manufacture. Turnout.

In 2018 mail-in voter fraud led to a house election being overturned in NC.

Why didn’t Trump make that candidate a household name? Any idea?

    Anybody have a guess?

This was right on point for Trump’s narrative. A house election winner got busted just two years ago in a mail-in vote harvesting fraud scheme.

Why didn’t Trump and his surrogates make him a household name?

    Thanks, Aqua.

I think everyone would enjoy the article as well, worth the read.

Just a cut & paste to give an idea of the tenor of the article:

"Over the past few decades and with increasing velocity over the last several years, a determined young cohort has captured nearly all of the institutions that produce American cultural and intellectual life. Rather than the institutions shaping them, they have reshaped the institutions. You don’t need the majority inside an institution to espouse these views. You only need them to remain silent, cowed by a fearless and zealous minority who can smear them as racists if they dare disagree."
