@larry said in Not symptoms, but...: Sounds like a conversation i'd have with my first wife. I should clarify this... my first wife was a child psychologist and therapist, and worked for the state handling child sex abuse. This 99.999% of the time involved a relative, and that relative was under court order, and not exactly what you'd call a happy, stable individual.

@larry said in Does he really believe it?: @jon-nyc said in Does he really believe it?: @loki said in Does he really believe it?: Russia Russia Russia was Hillary’s playbook from the beginning. Some hack was hired to write a fake dossier and that became the overriding obsession for this country for four years. Actually the dossier has become overriding obsession of right wing websites over the past 3 years or so. You seem to fall into the trap, almost ubiquitous on the right, of confusing the dossier with the Russia investigation itself. You really should at least skim the executive summary of Meuller’s report. Jon, do you honestly not know any better than that? Good grief guy. He does. He doesn't care.

Wow, and not to be too dramatic, but I feel like I've seen quite a few headlines here in TNCR about 2-3 days before they become the talk of the national media. In other words, I bet later this week we'll start to hear all about Arizona the way we are hearing all about California now after a few days prior you or George or someone was warning about the ICU capacity shortages there.

Sen. Cotton on the Cruz/Hawley effort: https://www.cotton.senate.gov/news/press-releases/cotton-statement-on-joint-session-of-congress- ... the Founders entrusted our elections chiefly to the states—not Congress. They entrusted the election of our president to the people, acting through the Electoral College—not Congress. And they entrusted the adjudication of election disputes to the courts—not Congress. Under the Constitution and federal law, Congress’s power is limited to counting electoral votes submitted by the states. . If Congress purported to overturn the results of the Electoral College, it would not only exceed that power, but also establish unwise precedents. First, Congress would take away the power to choose the president from the people, which would essentially end presidential elections and place that power in the hands of whichever party controls Congress. Second, Congress would imperil the Electoral College, which gives small states like Arkansas a voice in presidential elections. Democrats could achieve their longstanding goal of eliminating the Electoral College in effect by refusing to count electoral votes in the future for a Republican president-elect. Third, Congress would take another big step toward federalizing election law, another longstanding Democratic priority that Republicans have consistently opposed. ...

Maybe the sprayer stood very close to the garage door, very short spray distance, angled towards the outside when spraying the frame. Might happen.

@doctor-phibes said in RIP Gerry Marsden: The song 'Ferry Cross the Mersey' is played on the boat every single time they make the crossing. The film Ferry Cross the Mersey was paired at drive in theatres here on a double bill with *Hard Day's Night * when the latter was released in the early '60s. Remember it well.

@jolly said in Biden’s scaled down inauguration plan: May be more Trump supporters than Biden supporters at the Inauguration. That would be a hoot... You saw what happened a week or two ago when both he and Trump held events in Georgia.. Trump, who supposedly lost the election, had thousands of people show up at his event. Biden - the man who was considered a loser by both parties for 47 years, senile, who picked a woman as his vice president who isn't even popular in her own state.... that dynamo team who never campaigned and couldn't draw a big enough crowd to fill a school bus but who allegedly got more votes than anyone in history.......... No one showed up at his. No. One.
