Illinois poised to become first state to end wealth-based pre-trial detention

It’s good reform. Let’s hope more states will follow.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Non sequitur. We're talking pre-trial, before it's determined whether some one has done the crime.

Bail bond has always struck me as an unfair concept. It doesn't even do what it says on the box, for sufficiently wealthy people to whom the money is not important.

          Education is extremely important.

Reform sounds fine to me. If the wrong people are let loose and hide however I am concerned that people in their own community suffer most. That’s where most the crime occurs.
