I just went through something similar with Nissan Connect. Citi refunded my unauthorized payments immediately.

@mik said in June is a month of action!: What he is saying is good. It's more detailed than what Trump was saying but essentially the same truth. I hope it does some good. Yeah…. There is no question that Trump was trying to get us all vaccinated sooner than the system would allow. Operation Warp Speed should be Time’s Man of the Year. I know I know pronouns and all that but I don’t have time to send all my written words through the woke checker.

@copper said in The horror! CSV is propping up DIVIDER: I used a bunch of json about 14 or 15 years ago. It's ok for what it is. I think it is something like wearing a covid mask - you are supposed to like it. I think json is a little heavy and I prefer tab separated. But json is ok if there are other people involved. The main point of JSON is the representation of tree-structured data, as opposed to flat tables like CSV.

@mark said in Hey Mark....: I installed it and didn't like it. I probably need to give it a better shake down. From what I understand it's a bit hard-core, which isn't always as much fun as it sounds. My current PC won't run it - I'm upgrading soon....

More than one version, I guess. Here's the one I found: Quote: "Nothing like a good ol' Portland speedball for breakfast to cure a hangover. Two sips of coffee, one sip of beer. Repeat until the world stops spinning enough to get on your bike and ride again." End quote.

You’ll notice how the assailant is described in the report as “an unhinged man” and “a man in an orange hoodie.” (And this is the New York Post we’re talking about. They’re normally less squeamish.) In the CBS video report, he is similarly described as “a man” and “the suspect.” Is it just my imagination, or when some random white guy attacks or shoots someone and the victim is a person of color, the races of those involved are blasted in the first sentence of the report and then repeated ad nauseam throughout the article or news clip? It's just your imagination. There are two sides to the media, the right-leaning media does exactly the opposite and exactly as badly. Also you're a racist.

@copper said in Two tales of restaurant jobs...: Since the European students won't be taking those jobs, maybe the restaurants can import anti-vaxxers to take the jobs. Not to mention that there is a shortage of literally everything right now. There was a stop and a start and the supply chain is whacked. People are fools if they think the pandemic has caused our population to significantly re-evaluate their life’s purpose and meaning. I’ve been laughing for a few months now even as so called evidence has come in. Fleeting thoughts pass like farts in the wind. Journalists respond to the moment blind to human nature.

The tragedy is that we all knew this years ago. The media didn’t take interest because the wrong party pointed it out. Now that Biden has made criticizing China safe and fashionable again, we get articles like this. So I love the article but it is not a revelation. Still I hope we continue down this path.

We use our oven pretty much exclusively in convection mode. The frozen fries work fine.
