One episode left in Season 4. What a great ride. Very easy to follow yet chock full of political and societal questions applicable to today. Character development very very good. I am still ambivalent about Steven Strait as James Holden. I just don’t know. He’s got a Frodo on the way to Mordor thing going on and he’s uncomfortable to watch.

Age only. The health system sent out on MyChart to all eligible and it was first come first served. I was diligent.

Do you charge him room and board? If not then his income is discretionary.

@mik said in Fry Wall: Nice stuff. You can buy a good looking silk tie for not a lot of money. But a cheap tie shines like a sartorial bat signal screaming for help. That's why I stick to hiking pants, sandals, and t-shirts with goofy shit printed on them. It's at least more on-the-level than a Wal-Mart tie.

@nobodyssock said in Trump surprises supporters at President’s Day rally: @horace said in Trump surprises supporters at President’s Day rally: People born and raised in the most liberal parts of CA, and who never leave, are among the most myopic, politically blindered people in all of America. NS is a perfect example. I can think of at least a couple others over on WTF. You guys are so funny with your assumptions. Which are usually dead wrong as is the case here. I did not vote for Newsom, and I live in a conservative hotbed of California. Sounds like you're just projecting Horace. Try again. You all just shoot messengers. But what can I expect from brainwashed gullible folks? Sure you do...

@lufins-dad said in 'Honest Joe' - any truth to this article?: Yep. To me it seems like it left harbor when W was elected, but frankly, it may have been earlier... I wasn’t really paying attention. Clinton evil

This is just a brief office visit. It's not like it's something permanent, like say tncr.

Staying with the online schooling for the boy until next September. By then both of us should have our vaccinations. My wife will probably get hers in the next few weeks being that she is a health care worker. I expect mine in June or July. Roll out here is slow and poorly organized at the provincial level.

Even if it's not COVID, she should not have to meet with a student who exhibits signs of illness. I hated when students did that to me. I would make them get away from me in the classroom. They are too young, or too stupid, or too something to realize how rude and unreasonable it is, even when it's not a pandemic.

@doctor-phibes said in Worst attack on the Capital since 1812?: The world isn't actually divided into Trump supporters and detractors. Don't let anyone else hear you say that Trump is not a global phenomenon. His whole schtick is based on being a more global than even George Soros.

Actually, I thought the part about the materials jumping 5% in a week was interesting. I need to build a shed. Nothing spectacular, probably a 10x16 or 12x16, 5/12 gable on a 2x6 perimeter and 2x6 floor joists. Probably do trusses for the rafters. T 1-11 siding. The materials are outrageous. Darn near $7 for a stud.
