Trump’s mind is ridiculously sharp, and I definitely miss his unscripted candid take on speeches and briefings. Biden…poor fella is about 10 years beyond his ability to think sharply on the spot. Similar to Kamala’s annoying laugh as a crutch, Biden’s “no I’m serious, think about it” phrase is really an old trick by now.

Dude where have you been, that came out like 2 years ago. What amazes me is that band hadn't done crap before that came out. For 10 years, they were basically done. Then they do that. Crazy.

@jolly said in Hedge Funds as Single Family House Owners: No, more along the lines of "If you don't like this subdivision, build your own!" . In this case, that’s the actual problem. The red tape on construction makes the scarce current inventory of homes more valuable. Investors buying is a symptom of that. If institutions don’t do it - wealthy individuals will.

I just noticed in the video that he changed his squawk to 7500, he should have used 7700, understandable. 7500 = hijack 7700 = emergency So now the controller is thinking a hijack is in progress. I wonder how the rescue guys approached the plane, no mention in the video.

@Klaus that looks great! No vacations for us. I have a work trip about once a month back to the DC area, otherwise we're spending our time getting settled in the new house. We have family that lives 3 hours north that we'll probably visit a few times too... they live on 95 acres so it's a nice break away from it all when we go there.

We could have a thousand taliban fighters cross our southern border today. Mr. Biden would welcome them. And if asked, he would probably provide the Taliban with a list of girls above 15 and widows under 45 to be married to Taliban fighters,”

@lufins-dad said in Budgeting: @xenon I think there are a few budgeting apps that can be tied into your CC. Any one that is worth its cost. Banktivity connects to my credit cards, checking/savings, retirement funds. When I pay a card from my checking account, it's reflected on the card's ledger. Quicken does that as well.
