I'd blame the virus for the red dotted line. The rest you can analyse as you see fit, but it was already trending down. Both Bush and Obama had mixed results, too.

Maybe it's actually the American people's fault?

The estimated delivery times, here at least, are still really messed up. We've been buying a ton of stuff from Amazon, and they're all over the map. Frequently they arrive a week earlier than predicted. A small number have been delayed, and one got lost completely, only to show up a couple of weeks after Amazon gave us our money back.

@Doctor-Phibes There are some really strict "libel" law here in Thailand. Most/all of the website critical of Thailand are from oversea.

For me, I usually use a VPN that someone set up for me. Just to make sure.

    Good.

The other important area of study (and I'm out of the loop on this) is finding opioids that are analgesic without being euphoric and dependency-inducing. There are multiple receptors for opioids, and getting a drug that will trigger the analgesic receptor without the others would be a big deal.

I checked my watch at 6:10 this am, and the batter was at 30%. 35 minutes of charging later, it's up to 75%.

Charged to 100% in 80 minutes.

I was on a first flight on 9/11. When we landed someone was on a cellphone next to me and said one of the towers was hit by a little plane. It must have been just before 9:00 am.

I handed in my vote-by-mail ballot to my local election office in person, and I was required to show my state-issued photo identification and also sign my name into a log book at the election office. Of course, I also had the option to simply put the very same ballot into a regular USPS mail collection, a designated ballot drop box, or hand it to USPS over the counter at my local post office without needing to show ID or sign my name in any log book — but I would not get the “I Voted” sticker or keep the pen I used to sign my name at the local election office. Though I suspect they let every one “keep the pen” he used at the election office because of COVID-19 more than anything else.

You could do diced potatoes and add them late. They only need 20-30m or so. It would still work over rice.

    @Loki said in Duct cleaning?:

    The EPA speaks.

    Thanks for that....

You should consider having the air ducts in your home cleaned if:

There is substantial visible mold growth inside hard surface (e.g., sheet metal) ducts or on other components of your heating and cooling system. There are several important points to understand concerning mold detection in heating and cooling systems:

Many sections of your heating and cooling system may not be accessible for a visible inspection, so ask the service provider to show you any mold they say exists.
You should be aware that although a substance may look like mold, a positive determination of whether it is mold or not can be made only by an expert and may require laboratory analysis for final confirmation. For about $50, some microbiology laboratories can tell you whether a sample sent to them on a clear strip of sticky household tape is mold or simply a substance that resembles it.
If you have insulated air ducts and the insulation gets wet or moldy it cannot be effectively cleaned and should be removed and replaced.
If the conditions causing the mold growth in the first place are not corrected, mold growth will recur.
Ducts are infested with vermin, e.g. (rodents or insects).

Ducts are clogged with excessive amounts of dust and debris and/or particles are actually released into the home from your supply registers.

I don't consider myself an "Evangelical" (whatever that really means), but I have to agree with Jolly's assessment.
