Did you get the green tea starter kit when you ordered your manbun?

Yeah, it came with a fair-trade coffee mug and a coupon code for 10% off fucking your sister.

Aqua, I'm sure it was just a simple typing error, but the two words before sister are in the wrong order.

    I suppose that's true!

Just yanking your manbun a bit. However, it is true I read your every word. Cross my heart. šŸ˜‡

Being able to hear and appreciate that music is a very new development.

One of the points that Greenberg makes in his music courses is that, until the early 20th century, the ONLY ways that one could hear music was to either attend a performance, or make it yourself.

Remember that thread about mental disease?

It would be ok with me if the state protected the child from it.

Wow. And I thought I could be condescending towards the political opposition.

Obviously my approach was wrong. My greater point is that one mindset cannot validly draw sweeping conclusions about an entire other mindset and hope to reach any useful truths. I laid my post out to demonstrate how fucking foolish it is to even try.

Actually one thing we do have some scientific data on is that people who self-identify as liberal tend to have conceptions of the political opposition more divorced from reality than do conservatives regarding their opposition. The people who's understanding of the opposition is most divorced from reality, are in fact high status liberals. We've discussed that study here before.

Well, without boasting, that would be me.

But, I'm willing to let others chime in first, that's just the type of guy I am.

I've had iritis, so I am an expert too. I always have those eye drops at hand, even if on vacation. My entire life is just one blissful vacation. Life is grand, just a wonderful dream, one after another, living the dream when somewhere near cognizant. Eye drops are fine, as long as I have only two eyes.

Seriously, seems you're getting some good advice and answers, sorry you had to go through so much crap to just get an honest and realistic assessment for what's going on.

Just be aware of closed-angle glaucoma.

I used to work in a little converted farmhouse in Cheshire, and our landlord was the Duke of Westminster. Our company was a bit of a pet project of his, and he would occasionally drop in. He was worth considerably more than DJT claims to be worth, and this is very old money - going back to the crusades. He never pulled any of that shit at all. He would drive himself, even though he had a chauffeur. He would eat sandwiches for lunch

He might have been different away from home, but he seemed oddly down to earth. He owned all the villages in the area, but was almost universally liked, as far as I could tell.

Seems like they would have trotted that out over the past four years.

Speaking of which, Biden called his first air strike in Syria today against Iranian backed forces. i guess they did a rocket strike against US troops.

I can understand ordering a pizza or something if you have a late meeting, but USD$13000 on stuff in 6 months is ridiculous.

In other words, a stolen presidential electionā€”if it happens, we donā€™t really know in this caseā€”has an almost immediate statute of limitations,

Just like the last President Trump impeachment has a statute of limitations. Wasn't that one of the main arguments on why he was not impeached? LOL

He was impeached. He was not convicted. These are two separate things.

    True. I am corrected.

But one of the things said by some (alot?) of the senators is that it is not that President Trump was not "guilty" of the crime, but rather that he could not be convicted of it anymore. The time had run out.

He was found to be "not guilty", but that does not mean he was "innocent".

Yes, it does mean exactly that. To be found not guilty is the same thing. If you wish to believe he is guilty you have every right to do so. But neither your opinion nor anyone else's has any bearing on his legal status.

I dont believe that "not guilty" and "innocent" are the same thing, from my understanding of the words.

For example, a store is robbed. For no reason, police stop a car near the store and without asking, open the trunk and find the stole goods.

The judge does not allow that. Says it was illegal search and anything they found during the search cannot be used during trial. They have no other evidence. So, he is found "not guilty". But is he "innocent"? I dont think so.

I certainly agree that President Trump was not guilty. But it apprears that Senator McConnell (and some others) do not think he was innocent.

You are never proven innocent in a court of law.

Maybe we are saying the same thing with different words.

But I think that there is a difference between "not guilty" and "innocent".
