    Data Stolen

Nevada Restaurant Services (NRS), the owner of popular slot machine parlor chain Dotty's, has disclosed a data breach that exposed a significant amount of personal and financial information.

In a statement, the company confirmed that "certain customers" were affected by the breach and explained that the information includes Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or state ID numbers, passport numbers, financial account and routing numbers, health insurance information, treatment information, biometric data, medical records, taxpayer identification numbers and credit card numbers and expiration dates.

    Wait.

"Medical records?" It's a fucking slot machine where you put money in and things go "blingy-blingy, sparkly lights."

    Medical records? The hell....

Yeah how the hell do you write an article and mention medical record info without more clarity on what they means and why and how? So chilling but as Mik states, more to the story.

I cant imagine that data is routinely collected. I could see how it is married up or some data leads to access to other.

Ultrasound in all its forms looks to me like a Rorschach test

Indeed. I was pretty good with femoral nerve blocks. When ultrasound became available, I had no clue what I was looking at. Some of my partners were good with them.

I remember how back in college days in my networking class, the professor used to explain the independence of bandwidth and latency with the sentence "Never underestimate the bandwidth of a truck full of harddrives".

Funny, speaking of sax, I’ve was relistening today in the car at ear shattering volume Springsteen’s born to run, (long story, started binging on Lilyhammer which brought me to to binge on steve van zandt which took me back to Bruce) and it’s incredible how much Clarence Clemons gives raw power to those songs.

Amazing album which catapaulted Bruce to fame.

Who the HELL needs to know the times in all of those cities?

    Pilots?

I’m still a skeptic. I play with my phone enough. I don’t want to stare at my wrist all day.

I have a garmin fenix 6. Analog time. Heart rate at 12. Day date at 3. Battery at 9. So I’m really a minimalist.

Maybe one day I’ll give in but I think I have enough screens, with my phone and iPad, and dare I say, my desk top.

They did this in the UK in 2015. The world didn't end. People use re-usable bags a lot more now.

I'm sure some people got very over-excited about it, and then forgot to be outraged after a couple of weeks.

Y'all dont buy groceries in the UK. You don't have kitchens, frigs and freezers big enough to store anything...

33 districts in Uttar Pradesh are now Covid-free: State govt

Overall, the state has a total of 199 active cases, while the positivity rate came down to less than 0.01 per cent.

And there was I thinking the most ridiculous thing I was going to read all week was that bloke's bollocks swelling up after getting vaccinated.
