I've had good results with physical therapy. Maybe that could be considered chiropracty lite? When I was in my 30's, I went to a physician that did spinal adjustments, and they worked. He had me cross my arms while laying on his flat padded table, and then pretty much jumped with all his weight on my crossed arms. My back would pop like a series of popping buttons, but I felt better when he'd do it. And, he would sometimes do it for free, given I was a poor grad student. He wasn't a chiropractic, but he was a D.O. Don't think Osteopaths have been part of this discussion yet. They are legal in Oregon, I think there's a university here somewhere that churns out D.O.s He was a very bright guy, and I could tell by his practice that he was getting insanely rich. Go figure I guess.

@George-K said in Going For the Record: Nice. So about 1 out of 10 adults in the country work for the government. The rest of us work for the government until late sometime in April. https://wm-cpa.com/accounting-insight/tax-freedom-day-2023/#:~:text=Each year the Tax Foundation, could celebrate Tax Freedom Day.

@Horace said in "He was a brown-skinned undocumented migrant": It might be hard to imagine such ignorant, bigoted condescension, if TNCR didn't grow up around it. Sick burn.

According to The Denver Gazette, the men cited discounts on the sticker prices, and Kohl's coupons they had, to bring the items down below the threshold for felony theft in Colorado, which is $2,000. The documented value of the items stolen was $2,094.98, the district attorney's office said. With Kohl’s Cash the actual value was likely somewhere around $60.

Probably about the same. Can’t say I pay much attention to it. :man-shrugging:

One of the greatest and most wonderful parts of hearing a choral ensemble is hearing so many different and unique voices coming together. But there is also a unique beauty in hearing a single voice singing different parts in harmony with itself.

I think a lot of Democrats are frustrated with teh illegal immigration, so this would seem make sense for President Biden to negotiate on this subject.

@George-K There’s a comedy sketch in that exchange. I bring my own cloth bags when I go grocery shopping. In part because of past enlightening exchanges with minimum wage staff such as you had. That, and I only shop at Wal-Mart once a year to buy 10% cleaning vinegar to flush through my hot water on demand tank. It’s usually $1.50 or more cheaper there for a 2 litre jug than other stores nearby.

Up here we are at liberty to refer to them as (French) fries or just, fries, frites or chips. I of course, being big on the Empire and all that good tradition stuff, choose the latter, and refer to them as chips.

This guy quarterbacked out hospital flag football team. https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-roch-hontas-2282c He should have played in the NFL. He wanted to be a doc and was accepted at Tulane. The doc my wife worked for, turned down competing in the U.S.Open for med school. Not all money is good money.

BTW I think the leg scandal is Kate's. She only seems to have one leg (but the other one is probably hidden behind).

I get it. It is sad, disgusting, and horrible. Those people should be lock up for life, or even worse. But unfortunately, I am pretty sure that there are child abuse cases that are equally as bad which probably never made headlines except for maybe local news. I dont think that all (insert your favorite job occupation/gender/ethnic person/politic party) are terrible because of the action of one.

Known tool. He has the ego to want to be seen as more than a basketball player, but not the intellectual capacity to be more than a basketball player. Similar to Kaepernick in that sense, though nobody will exceed Kaepernick in that regard, now or ever.
