No idea about NY, but we're doing pretty well in Massachusetts - we're investing a ton of money in a new building there, despite the current corporate HQ being in RI. Admittedly, I can imagine the legislative minefield might be more difficult for smaller companies, which is presumably his focus.

I listened to that interview. Trump really does come off as much more subdued these days. There's almost a whiff of a human level of humility.

Outstanding. Set, lighting, acting. Top notch. They played as a bit more of a farce than Hitchcock. [image: 1725491507184-img_4511.jpeg]

Had drinks with my old Credit Suisse buddies last night. It got me thinking about this topic, because I like the way the banking industry handles it. The typical non-competes stops you from working for a competitor for 6 months. It seems to strike a good balance - it inhibits you from bringing leads from one employer to another, gives the ex-employer time to have new employees build relationships with your old clients, while not banning you from working in your own industry. The phrase they use is ‘gardening leave’. You get an offer from a new bank and quit your job, and have six months to tend to your garden.

That's the Good Reverend Dewey to you, snide fellow. No, Paul Harrell was a kind of different personality. Marched to the beat of his own drummer. But he could shoot and his videos can contain a lot of unbiased information. You don't get over 1M subscribers on a firearms channel without standing out from the crowd.

It is disgusting. At the very least, let them cop a plea for voluntary manslaughter as adults. The sentence in Nevada is 1-10 years. Sentence them to 3-4 years and knock off a third for good behavior. That way, they carry a felony record and at least serve some hard time.

Turning Point is a 501(c)3 just like the Voter Participation Center with the same requirement to be non-partisan in its registration efforts. I suspect it’s a very low bar to prove non-partisanship.

I've been a Honda / Toyota guy, but my latest one is a BMW. It's supposed to be their most reliable drivetrain (in-line 6). Fingers crossed...

@Renauda said in Manifesto Released: @LuFins-Dad COVID, and it finally became blatantly obvious in the 3020 election and aftermath, people shockingly stopped trusting them. You don’t say. I would have thought that by then the Wuflu pandemic would be out of the mainstream consciousness. Yeah, focus on the typo.
