@Mik said in Back to the contractor drawing board: I made the right decision. I've never seen a project start badly and get better. Good line. Also he used the word “cuz”. That would be a near deal breaker for me right there.

We have a couple of deaf people who run with my track group. What's interesting is that they use their phone to transcribe what's being said by the coach. A few folks in the group use sign language to converse with them.

In my mind, I was thinking - "why doesn't he just re-write his will to give more control to the one son." But, I am sure it is a lot more complicated than that.

@Jolly Have to change the culture. I don't know why if you are high in government, there becomes an "entitlement". And this is not a party issue. As you say, its everybody.

@jon-nyc said in Obama(s) endorse: @Jolly said in Obama(s) endorse: So basically, they waited for Headboard Harris to build enough momentum that Obama thinks she might be a viable candidate and not a sacrificial lamb. The call was made, terms for the Fourth Administration agreed upon, then Kamala-lama-ding-dong got on her knees (a not unfamiliar position) and kissed the ring. She now has the blessings and network availability of Barry & Big Mike. Imagine if she had 5 kids by 3 different men how you’d talk about her. Link to video

Yeah if I were single, one of my lines could be, “wanna come over to my house and work on your hip thrust?”

And they belong at sea, not suffering on a factory farm," Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island, a co-author of the bill, said in a statement to NPR. I hope some reporter will “follow the money” on this to see what really motivates Sen. Whitehouse on this matter. Cthulhu, I guess.

@Mik said in Not boneless: @taiwan_girl said in Not boneless: Mybe just me, but when I see something listed as "boneless" I always have assume that it meant "no bones" and not some sort of cooking style. What is a boneless cooking style anyway? It’s cooking meat with no bones in it.

@George-K said in FAFO of the day: @Horace said in FAFO of the day: More than you wanted to know about the incident Yeah, probably. tl;dw. Can you summarize? From what I gathered, he was convicted because the jury didn't find him truthful in his police interviews. I think the facts were out in the trial and were not disputed. Some minor dispute about whether he punched one of the ladies, but the stabbings and what led up to them were clear. Those facts were what convicted him. He could have retreated easily, rather than going on a knife rampage.
