Meh. Half the country thought Bush and Obama were bullshit too. No change there.

If you're CNN, etc., it's good for business.

Let me state for the record...I very, very rarely will read a NYT link.

And I damn sure ain't gonna pay for the privilege.

It’s so valuable. I knew that story of the virus would be milked until the story of the economic disaster was worth more. The NYT acted as predicted. The trick will be to tie both to Trump.

I understand trying but like jolly I can’t begin to imagine.

I can’t breathe effectively through a cloth mask, just in normal activities. I tolerate it. I wonder because I am athletic I notice it more.

@LuFins-Dad said in Minnesota is winning ...:

Wait, if the Census is the mechanism used to determine the population, how can they calculate a reporting percentage? The denominator of that equation is what they are trying to determine!

In this instance, they are talking about the self response rate, i.e., the # of self responses divided by the number of surveys sent. The denominator is simply the number of surveys that have been sent out, and the Census Bureau knows how many they sent out.

"I spoke with Howard Hill, the owner of Howard K. Hill Funeral Services located in Hartford, Bloomfield and New Haven, who told me he saw a 166% increase in at-home deaths during a 30-day period from March 15 to April 15, compared to a year earlier."

She was an international student coordinator, and also worked part time at a private high school doing the same sort of thing for their international student program. She did not like dealing with unruly students and stupid host families, many of whom are just in it for the paycheck and don't want to be bothered with the student living with them.
