Our task for Super Bowl Sunday is to purge, clean and reorganize the garage freezer, which has become somewhat of a Jenga game to get anything out, and the bottom freezer on the fridge which has items of great antiquity and suspect provenance.
Good day, because whatever I pulled out in the garage is in no way going to defrost at 19F.
We have a LOT of meat.

Mik - get your new phone out and write down what’s there in the ‘notes’ app. Here’s a page of mine:
I also have sections for meats, fish, vegetables, and breads.
It helps me know what’s been there a while and needs to be used. It also lets me look at my phone to decide what to thaw out for dinner. Or I can be at the store and check if I have some meat item already or need to buy it.
Once the list is made it’s pretty easy to maintain

We threw out three laundry baskets full of stuff and it's still pretty full. But since our appliances are all committing suicide these days we did not want to leave the indoor freezer with anything that would leak onto the hardwood if it died while we are down south.
I made the list:
Buttload of beef
Two buttloads of pork
some chicken and fish and lamb
two loaves of sourdough bread
...you get the picture.
