@jon-nyc I guess somewhat equal to the old sailing ships where someone would climb to the top of the sail pole and look for obstacles.

BTW, very cool picture. I love old pictures of history.

None of this matters... these kids really love our country, they just have a different view from us, there is no right and wrong, and all sides are equal. Besides, even if they are part of a larger problem it still doesn't matter since it will take another 10-20 years for any damage to come from it.

I know this is true because I heard it here on the forum......

@89th You're far more optimistic than I am. I give it a 40% chance they change the name in the next 5 years.

All the other roles are footnotes to his one true role - J. Jonah Jameson Jr.

    He is the man.

@89th Where are you finding Clorox wipes?

I bought a box of six large canisters at Sam's yesterday.

The hospital was able to source hand sanitizer and wipes through a local janitorial supply store.

I think it makes sense, in this time of crisis, to just insource such services. Plenty of out of work strippers, just go to Craig’s list and find one.

Agree, terrible article. I do believe that there probably is some bias in police men against black people. Of course, not every police man.

But it certainly is not 100% of the problem in that community.

You (generic) cannot spend all of your energy, time, and focus on 10%(?) of the problem and ignore the other 90%.

Potomac means River of Swans. Swans are white.

I thought Potomac meant Horse river or something.

"Potomac" is a European spelling of Patawomeck, the Algonquian name of a Native American village on its southern bank. Native Americans had different names for different parts of the river, calling the river above Great Falls Cohongarooton, meaning "honking geese" and "Patawomke" below the Falls, meaning "river of swans". The spelling of the name has taken many forms over the years from "Patawomeck" (as on Captain John Smith's map) to "Patomake", "Patowmack", and numerous other variations in the 18th century and now "Potomac". The river's name was officially decided upon as "Potomac" by the Board on Geographic Names in 1931
