By the way, that's my dad, Pepper.
He's the one on top of the tower. He's retired now, having done all of his stud-work.

In the cat-breeding world, there are so many scammers trying to get you money by misrepresenting how they breed.
The worst of them take your deposit, or even full payment and never ship - then they disappear.
Another bad breeder is the one who imports cats from overseas, with no attention the health of the kitten and pawn them off.
Then, there are the ones who breed their cats in absolute filth. Diseases are rampant and spread quickly.
By contrast, here's the cattery from which I came. She was wonderful when I was bought, she sent my dad frequent picture updates, and some videos.
I just wanted to share a pic of my first home.
Whoa.
Sorry to hear that.
How do you measure and monitor his blood glucose? Dad tells me that overshooting with insulin can be a bad thing - hypoglycemia can cause a seizure.
I've also been concerned about arthritis. We Coons are prone to it because of our big bones and big stature. Hip problems can be common. Any thought that that's Meatball's issue? However, he's kind of young, isn't he?
PLease keep me posted on how he's doing.
Thanks!
How's Meatball?
I've been thinking about him for the last couple of days.
Welcome home, brother.
But, for FUCK's sake don't do it again. It's a mean, cruel, and nasty world out there.
Your dad just about had a heart attack.

Me too
I think they are actually Twitter links - just a blue ribbon
I can't see them either, and I'm a freaking cat!
I approve of this post.

If only dad hadn’t made me have that operation.
Norwegian forest cats are related to Maine coons.
With their big bodies and bushy tails, the Maine coon and the Norwegian forest cat look like cousins. Appearances aren’t deceiving. Genetic testing indicates that the Maine coon is a descendant of both the Norwegian forest cat and an unknown—and extinct—domestic breed.
Can't tell the two apart? Look at their features. Norwegian forest cats have a triangle-shaped face, whereas Maine coons have a wedge-shaped head with high cheekbones.
Yup. Very similar in temperament, build, etc. There are many people who have both.
I could use a playmate to be sure. Maggie just tells me to fuck off.

We have about 1,821 ounces of frozen breast milk in the freezer if anyone needs any.
I can haz milk?
D2 came to visit Mom and Dad for Easter. They had Italian beef sammiches, potato salad and salad for lunch.
I had some wet food, some treats, and hugs from D2.
Dad opened the liquor cabinet to pour himself some (cheap) Scotch. He had forgotten that he wanted some ice, so he went to the kitchen to get some.
I took advantage of his absence to hop up into the cabinet and check out the stash.
He caught me in the act.
We are not amused by these remarks.
