In the cat-breeding world, there are so many scammers trying to get you money by misrepresenting how they breed.

The worst of them take your deposit, or even full payment and never ship - then they disappear.

Another bad breeder is the one who imports cats from overseas, with no attention the health of the kitten and pawn them off.

Then, there are the ones who breed their cats in absolute filth. Diseases are rampant and spread quickly.

By contrast, here's the cattery from which I came. She was wonderful when I was bought, she sent my dad frequent picture updates, and some videos.

I just wanted to share a pic of my first home.

      Chiming in here...

Another thing these unscrupulous people do is steal photos from legit catteries and present them as kittens that they have.

A surefire tipoff is when the "breeder" has many pictures of kittens, but all of them are in a different location. A good breeder will always photograph in the same place, and watermark the photos so they don't get stolen.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

By the way, that's my dad, Pepper.

He's the one on top of the tower. He's retired now, having done all of his stud-work.
