    D2 came to visit Mom and Dad for Easter. They had Italian beef sammiches, potato salad and salad for lunch.

    I had some wet food, some treats, and hugs from D2.

        Boris says, "Where's the beef?"
        Did you share with him?

          @brenda we did not share.

          D2 took all leftovers north, across the Cheddar Curtain. She'll get at least 2 meals out of it.

          This was from Buona Beef - we like it better than Portillo's. The beef is probably just as good, but their potato salad is do die for.

          It's a heck of a deal.

          • 5 pieces of Italian bread.
          • Enough beef (and gravy) to make 5 sammiches
          • A side, either potato salad or macaroni salad
          • Half a pint of sweet peppers
          • Half a pint of hot peppers.

          This is about $35-$40 delivered.

          We had three sammiches for lunch and D2 took all the leftovers back home. 5 meals for about $8 each (taxes, fees, tip, etc).

          The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

              Moms do, too. It's wonderful to have leftovers to give your kiddo. When we visit our kiddo, I cook enough for each meal to stash some in the freezer. By the time we go back to Minnesooooooota, there are several frozen packages for the kiddo to have homemade dinners for a while. That makes a mom very happy. I feel like I've done something that will be appreciated.

                MIL is 82. She had enough cooked Saturdag to feed a dozen people. And enough left over to feed them again.
