Stepien is formally requesting a recount in WI.

FWIW, even Trafalgar was predicting B+0.4 for Wisconsin.

We are witnessing the end of the US as a nation. When a man suffering from dementia who hasn't accomplished a single thing in 47 years as a politician, a man who sold our country out at every opportunity in order to line his own pockets has enough votes to win an election for president, then there is no hope for this nation. We will go the way of the Roman Empire.
But I'm not really surprised. At my age I have watched as the idiot brigade in this country grew bigger and bigger, and I have watched our nation slowly turn it's back on every moral value we used to hold.
I weep for this nation.

Now that this is mostly over - it feels like Trump had a ton working in his favor.
The economy has continued to move at a decent clip, he had winning positions (though not great policy) on immigration, getting tough on trade and even a cultural-pride message that resonates with many.
The genius communicator side of him was able to clearly land those positions - but I think him being a moron/overly obnoxious just got the best of him.
A vanilla republican with the same policy positions probably would have held on here.

How does a vanilla Republican it’s the same policies get that message past the media? They don’t. This election was never about policies and was always about the evil Donald...

@LuFins-Dad I think you're underappreciating how much the new media landscape has broken the dominance of traditional media. (and this will continue to be the trend)
It's the same thing that led to wokeness / mass protests without even a figurehead.

Correct me if I'm wrong but looking at the maps there are 7 states that are still in doubt:
NV - 6 Biden lead
AZ - 11 Biden lead
WI - 10 Biden lead
MI - 16 Biden leadPA - 20 Trump lead
NC - 15 Trump lead
GA - 16 Trump leadSo Biden has 227 votes to Trump's 213 at this moment.
If leads are maintained in all of these undecided states, my math puts Biden right at 270 and Trump at 264.
Yeah, this won't be sorted out for weeks.

It’s over already except for the formalization

Great! 9 more of those and he’ll catch back up!
Sorta like asking for a recount in Wisconsin.
However, I can see this making a difference in the Senate race in Michigan.

I lost track, how is James doing?

Leading by 10K (soon to be 15K) votes.
-
I am wondering why the media outlets aren’t calling Michigan yet?

More eyeballs, more clicks.

If I understand correctly, Biden would be at exactly 270 if everything goes as it is currently projected.
However, only 67% are counted in Nevada right now, and it's pretty close. Is there a realistic chance that Nevada could turn around and give Trump the necessary votes?
