Im sure it was in response to a question about how people are supposed to follow the food pyramid when grocery prices are so high.

I also like liver, just cannot have it too frequently due to its high cholesterol content.

I eat liver once a year. My daughter takes the turkey livers out of the Thanksgiving turkey and cooks then up with onions for breakfast. A father-daughter once a year treat.
Liver for whatever reason, always initiates my gag reflex. I simply cannot swallow it. I think it is a combination of taste and texture.
If left with liver as an alternative I would gladly live on a diet of beans. Never met one I didn’t like.

I eat leberkäse every time I’m in Bavaria and was happy to learn that though the name means ‘liver cheese’ it has neither liver nor cheese.
