The interesting thing about rowing is that if you have proper technique, only something like 25% of the power comes from your arms.

The most well known indoor machine is the "Concept 2". From what I have heard/read, the fly setting should be at around 4-5 and the stroke every minute should be somewhere around 20-22.

I usually just watch Asian dramas while rowing. LOL The concept 2 had a holder for an Ipad or similar. Makes the time go quickly.

I'm starting to change my cardio sessions to HIIT - one minute normal, 30 seconds fast and furious. It supposedly has a brain preserving effect. I'll see if i can find the article.

When I have to "scroll" to select my birth year when filling out a form, it's starting to becoming insulting. And yes, I know we have longer-scrollers here.

Not quite sure how that works...

I worked out today, but my body was already unhappy with me for having hoisted wet mulch bags all day yesterday in a very rare day of yardwork. It shows that no matter how much time i put in on the machines, they don't work ALL the muscles. I'll have to look into adding some dumbbell work.

It's a trap bar. You stand inside it to do deadlifts. Usually they're closed on both sides. I use on at my gym. I find it much easier to lift with my legs rather than back with the trap bar.

I recently started doing real pull-ups and dips. Previously I only did the assisted kind out of fear that I'd injure my shoulder (torn rotator cuff in 22).

I've been trying to do 3 sets of 5 (up from 3 sets of 3). I can do that with dips, today I hit 5-5-4 on pull-ups. Still need to improve my form though.
