Yeah, doesn't seem to be anything wrong with how he is holding the leash.

Iâve likely walked more dogs on a leash than anybody else here. Thatâs often how I hold the leash if the dogâs well trained or a smaller and weaker dog.
The dog does look a little excited as itâs a new environment, but thatâs normal.
